I looked at the teams that Igiede played at professionally after the commentator said this is the toughest league she has played in, and then I saw she has played in the A1 Italian League. Yes maybe not in the best of teams, but she took part in that league. The italian league is one of the toughest in the world alongside the Turkish one. Why would he say that when this league just started and doesn’t even compete in any international competitons?? Please, don’t disrespect legendary leagues and volleyball countries
@@damiancastro5894and yet USA couldn’t even take a set from Italy in the final… they have a point, the Turkish and Italian leagues are the toughest in the world. I’m really impressed by the level of play for the inaugural season, but it’s gonna take a few years for us to reach the level of other countries (in terms of pro women’s volleyball)
He said it out of ignorance, not out of malice. Regardless, it's disrespectful. None of the teams in this newly minted league can beat Vakif or Milano right now. If this can take off, who knows? What I like about this is league, it gives our homegrown talent the means to sharpen their iron, playing at home. It also will help USA Volleyball develop a deeper core of players for the National team. Love the competition level in this match and was thrilled to see Folie playing in this league.
LOVB has a long way to go and develop. The league do able to recruit some good local and foreign players but the competitiveness is still way lower compared to Italian or Turkish league
I actually strongly disagree with this. The US has the most abundance of high level players that are within their own country. We could potentially have 4 to 5 competitive national teams if it was allowed😂 That being said both Italy and Turkey have this as well, but I can argue that if you took turkeys B players and our B players it would be a sweep almost every time.
@MegaSimLer Yupe like being said, Larson, Robinson, Skinner, Plummer are all good OHs but are anyone or them comparable to Kim, Zhu or Gabi in case of influences?🙂 Well, I am not in any ways trying to depreciate the level of LOVB but it's a new league so it still has a long way to go. Yet it's not gonna deny the possibility of LOVB becoming one of the most influential league across the globe ♥️
I watched live I didn't expect them to beat Houston in 3.

America has way more metals then Italy and turkey so your point is invalid. Don’t disrespect USA again!

I mean't no disrespect to Bruddah Kevin Wong, BTW.
Hope PVF and LOVB will merge for more competitive games!

I think that even is high Level as turkey & italia event
Because
America is always high rangkig
Some times Rangking 4, 3 , 2 or rangking 1
I see lots of veterans in this league. The pace is slow and I think it’ll do better with younger girls.
Omaha looking good
Go Omaha btw 💚
