I have recently only just discovered this kit at the IPMS show and bought the Coyote for a bargain £10 and now that has spilt itself onto a much larger set of all the operation Herrick being slowly being added to make a larger display set. As you mentioned in your vid this is an excellent build both in parts quality with "0" flash and 100% fun easy build great instructions. I'd say buy it if it's your thing modern warfare and because of it 1:48 loads more can be added to create drama on a base display board.
Thanks for the review and you are right not a lot of reviews on these kits on the web. It looks like an interesting build and I am surprised by the the included paints seems like it came out very nice. they have this kit on sale on Amazon.ca, I think I might give it a go.
Am building this at the moment. You've done a great job with the included paints and brush. Very nice. Yes, its a joy to build for sure. The only thing I don't like about the kit is the moulded on stowage bags. I am going to sand them off, and attempt scratchbuilding them. Airfix's photo etch set for this kit is also excellent :)
funguseater40 Thanks for the comment dude. If it wasn't a 'caravan' build I probably would have gone for the photo etch details. I'd love to see yours when it's done, bet it'll look awesome with the extra details.
i have this model kit and im wondering whether i should buy the vehicle crew before i make the model or after because i don't know if you can do it afterwards. please reply if you know
The honest answer is I don't know. However I would imagine it will be very tight to squeeze the crew in after the build, you may have to install the crew halfway through the build. Sorry I can't be of more help.
