Both are Indian breeds, both have no health issues and good resistance power. Mudhol are hyperactive, lean, tall, runs at a verry high speed. Rajapalayam are not lean they are bit huge comapred to Mudhol. Both are good guard dogs. But if u are looking for a dog that patrols the entire farm & don't get tired & hyper active, GO for MUDHOL

Prabha thanks for watching my video! Guarding is the main purpose of having all these dogs. We rarely use the cages, only when outside people come we cage them. Most of time our hounds will be patrolling farm and house. We have cage inside compound also

Mudhol hounds are meant at place like this.They need open places where they can run around and ofcourse they need training otherwise its difficult to keep them tied in one place.Had a mudhol hound in my childhood.Poor thing was so fast that it met with an accident with a truck.That is the reason I feel it's not meant for city life.In places like farmhouse or in villages it will be of great use especially where u have trouble of monkeys and other wild creatures.
