I have both, the V1 and V2 Prime X. Initially, V1 felt better but after some mileage on the V2 I felt like it was much better than I originally thought. If I was to use this shoe as a training shoe, I would use the Saucony Endorphin Elite as the race shoe. Similar feel but a lot lighter. Alphafly V1 is still the best race shoe for me but if because it’s hard to get now, I feel like the Endorphin Elite it’s the next best shoe. The Alphafly 2 is a no for me.
I just got them at half price, $80 CAD cheaper than superblast. I have the original prime x, not the strung upper, run over 500 miles in them. Not as bouncy as before. Was looking for last generation, strung 1, much lighter, but my size is sold out. Looking to try them for some long runs.
The stiffness of the shoe is a problem for me, it does not allow the foot to follow its biomechanic pathway, it maybe soft and has a nice feel but pain in the ball of foot area prevents me running in the shoe which is a annoying as really like the shoe 😢

The draw back to the superblast is traction. The strung 2 I can take out in any conditions. The superblast loses its magic in the rain
Excellent review ❤
Thanks!!

I prefer rhe OG... Like rhe 2nd alphafly, this one is a miss for me.

Not a big fan. Feels like running on unstable stilt that are too hot. Much prefer New Balance SC2 trainer.
