I saw one of these at Walmart the other day and was considering picking it up. I'm not much of a customizer but I think this buck could make a great Batman.
I bought a gang of these on clearance too for customs mostly. I turned one into a Warren Worthington Angel, and I used another for a Prime Sentinel. Wish I had thought of a DD. Looking forward to seeing what they do with this. I have the same damn luck. I finally finished my Bombastic Bagman and they announced. I always say, if you want a release, I better start making a custom. Lol.
I like the proportions on this buck but my big issue is like you said, the butterfly joints are nearly useless and it also takes away a aesthetically from the chest to the point (like with that one Black Panther MCU) where it looks like he’s wearing a bra. Love your stuff man, keep up the great work!
I liked the build of the Bucky Cap body. Not too muscular, but not too tall. Good build for a character that is around 6 foot 2 inches tall (common superhero height). A few millimeters make a big difference when it comes to scale. The sculpt fits Vulcan well. I just wish it was the height of the Bucky Cap.
Yea I agree wit u 100% That Vulcan fig is underrated. Ive been using them for customs and I don't need much sanding to the joints and it takes the paint real well.👍👍
Would you ever consider using this body to make a custom Batman figure? I don't see enough Legends converted into DC figs and I'd really like to attempt to copycat a good recipe.
Bought 3 for $8 each. I'm going to make a Punisher, I think he'll be able to hold the guns better with this body mold. May buy more if I can find him at the $8 price.
Even if the mar-vell body mold looks great for a captain marvel Figure because I find nothing wrong with it . But I hope hasbro does a mar -vell on the Vulcan body in the future . It makes for a better body mold for a mar-vell figure . The butterfly joints don't matter if the figure is done with good execution . And I think this Vulcan body is perfect for it to be official . Hasbro has been doing great lately . In My opinion . This body is probably gonna be on the majority of future figures till people will get tired from it or gets improved further I hope .
AOA Sabretooth is another size body... DorksideToys had Vulcan on sale for like $10 at one point... I should've got 4 of them smh... Btw, can you disassemble that Vulcan body?
Lol and again retro Spider-Man buck will be used for the daredevil in the new three pack of and just pull the arms and clip the ends of the pins pop them back in and your good to go full range, hot water to soften the shoulders is the first step in sure you know how
nice info. I got 2 of them...one for the display as Vulcan the other I used the head for a DC captain atom and the body...not sure yet...maybe a superman.
I was not that impressed with that Vulcan body myself🤦🏾♂️ Admittedly I'm not a fan of pinless tech but those joints on him seemed gummy to me and the obvious color difference in parts did not help😤 I think my expectations for this body was too high🤷🏾♂️ I too got it on clearance in hopes of using it for a custom however now I might jus fodder him out😅
Ha I just picked this guy up today to make a DD, but the last one I did I had trouble swapping the boots with the AoA MAGNETO, let us know if you come up with a better process to swap with this guy if you don't mind and thanks
I hate this body. I wish they would just use the tooling of the new Spider-Man figures with the diaphragm ab crunch setup.I really really hate this waist cut ab crunch design. Just seems so out dated at this point.

I like pinless joints but I'm having trouble prepping a figure to avoid paint rub, with the new pinless bodies

Good body to do a custom Punisher Daredevil and even a Batman or Nightwing
Daredevil, Scarlet Spider Kaine, Flash, Red Ranger, Scarlet Spider Ben, Deadpool, and that's just the red characters.

I like this body compared to what was given to us previously though, it’s not perfect by any means but better than the bucky cap IMO

It’s not that bad, it could be worse fr, bucky cap is 11x worse imo, the crunch would’ve been a better choice tho
