i learned this over a year ago and it was one of my first intoductions into neo-soul, math rock, whatever you want to call the genre. it inspired me heavily. you are one of my first real gamechangers, thank you Ruben
Beautiful tune Ruben and the tutorial is excellent. In fact all of your music compositions are special and unique, I have enjoyed the neo-soul genre since I first found you on Instagram. You're genius bro. Thanks.
Thanks for sharing this . I was trying to figure out how to play it actually lol. The ONLY thing I don’t like about the song , is that it ends lol. Love it bro
Very cool song. I've had it in my head for a couple of days now. Funny that you hear Em6 at 3:29. Since it stresses C# and F#, I hear it more as an A7/6. That's what I'm thinking when I solo over it at least.
What are youe tips to becoming better at freestyle playing the guitar?😭 one day i want to just jam with the music and play on top of it with the guitar
Know your shapes, scales, and then just practice taking what goes on in your head and putting it on the fretboard. Learn what a minor 7th sounds like for example and you'll start just thinking in the shapes
@@Daffanitely to add, to your comment...( improvisation)which is really, your favorite memorized musical pharases connected with , scales and the general chord progression of the particlar song...but hey, no pressure, lol when we speak...we have the same process...we have letters ( scales) words ( musical phrases) and a paragraph or story ( a song or chord progression ) ....so its not some foreign thing...we improvise everyday...when we speak! and occassionally...we come up with something new and original in the process! but you might be disappointed to find out that your new riff has already been done before...lol whats amazing is... all the music that has been made with only 12 notes!!
It's a Suhr. Looks like a Classic S (for stratocaster) with the SSS pickup configuration. Might be wrong, but the darkness of the wood on the headstock makes me think it's roasted neck. www.suhr.com/instruments/classic-s/
5- 7 years... I’ve been playing for 3 and a half and I can get the notes down but not as smoothly as he can... a few more years of skill would probably allow me to play it smoothly
Nikolai wtf how have I not heard of this.... no wonder some people with this play the guitar so hard and don’t accidentally pluck a wrong string which happens to me all the time

please make an extended version!! This is actually so beautiful ~
Forget about Ruben’s style for a sec. He’s a goddamn magician moving from guitar pick, to pluck, to tap.
He's unreal
Watching this while it's actually raining outside and with a real rain sound is really amazing!!

Nice one Man
what is the thing called he has on the hedstock?
it's a fret wrap, sometimes called a string dampener. they just help to dampen open-string sounds and create a clearer tone
@@Pickupjazz Thanks so much :) I appreciate your help!

Damn yo !! So soothing with a guitar
謝謝你,帥哥
I discovered this piece weeks ago. Great piece. Does using normal accoustic guitar prevent to get some of the effect from el guitar ?
Using an acoustic will definitely be a different sound from what Ruben is doing, but that doesn't make it incorrect to do so!
Really cool !
Will you also teach "rose" in an upcoming video?
no I won't!
What does his gear setup consist of amplification wise ???
inspired 🙏🏽 does the package in pickupmusic have the backing track for this too?
Yes
太好听了吧!!!
The tabs link doesn't work? Is it included in the pick up music membership?
Wonder what amp he is using
What guitar is he playing on?

Where can i get the backing track? 😭
rurrun turn your shower on 🚿
Having a hard time figuring out what’s happening at 1:04
He plays d e g d' c g e :)
What’re the chords he’s playing over?
How long would it take a beginner to learn this
Ariik Kiira a month if you pray and play every day
5- 7 years... I’ve been playing for 3 and a half and I can get the notes down but not as smoothly as he can... a few more years of skill would probably allow me to play it smoothly
Took me a day bro, just try your best. If you're fingers are comfortable with the guitar, then all it'll take is hard focus.
you cool
😍😍😍😍😍😍
Backing track for this? Thanks
guitar model pleaseee ??
what's that thing on his first fret
to mute his open strings
Nikolai wtf how have I not heard of this.... no wonder some people with this play the guitar so hard and don’t accidentally pluck a wrong string which happens to me all the time
beutiful

Why every "lofi" guitarist or just guitarist have a song named rain?
