It has a deeper story and characters have interesting background which you can understand and relate to them. You can also see the slow yet wholesome build up of the mc's character. Jihoon playing Si Eun nailed it! First he stood up and fought back for himself, then for his friends who influenced him a lot and those who are important to him which make you hooked up with them and this show. The actors esp the main actors did great job playing their role. It was a one hell of a roller coaster ride of emotions huhuhu

BUT BOY, I WAS SURPRISED. from episode 1 that show got me hooked! his acting was absolutely INSANE. what was this boy doing in the idol industry when he's such a good actor? it was mind-blowing. when it comes to kdramas to me, weak hero was a cultural reset, honestly. it was violent but so real, talked about so many issues and made it painfully realistic. it was amazing and i'm now a fan.

This series has becomed my fav not only of the year, but I think one of my faves ever. The plotwist and the friendships are incredibly well made. This is how you make a good series. For me its like if the characters from sementic error and the story of the uncanny counter had been mixed and had a baby. Without the bl of course, just a lovely bromance.
