The 4 Nos additional Sites 3 sites are located in North of Luzon are the first defense against China going to Pacific Ocean ,the sites are the gate toward the Pacific and also defense for Taiwan. It just 100 miles toward nearest edge of Taiwan that will prevent China to invade Taiwan. Placement of Multiple Launch Rocket System HIMMARS and Tomahawk missile system in the said EDCA site is the best deterrence to repel China .Then there is another EDCA site in Palawan island the nearest island in WPS this is the Balabac where a runway is being build for military aircraft can use to land and depart This is nearest location against China around 100 - 200 miles against China's artificial build islands

In the past, US military bases in the Philippines have been important in maintaining US hegemony in Asia as experienced in the Korean War that has not been resolved up to this date, the Vietnam war where the Vietnamese successfully liberated their nation with millions being killed, the bombing of Laos and Cambodia, etc. Now these bases are called EDCA because the Philippine Constitution prohibits the establishment of foreign military bases in the country. The Philippines must not be dragged in the US antagonistic competition with China because China remains one of the biggest trading partner of the Philippines. Though there are territorial problems between the Philippines and China, these can be resolved through international institutions and diplomacy.
