I completely disagree she is not calm actually she was trying to hide nervousness to look calm. But it's still manifesting. However, just plain calmness would not make her win. There is also a need of personality when she give answer. In her case sobrang flat.

Being quiet and reserved is a personality. Sometimes in Pageants, it can work to your advantage. You know, being the dark horse, reserved, mysterious candidate - it could be beneficial. But I still believe the QnA part shouldn’t be reserved at all. She definitely needs to work on her confidence, diction and conviction. There are room for improvements. Hoping that we can see that in the Coronation night.

Funny how some people say that she should omit the fillers or “uhhm” expression when speaking but did you see her MUPH Q&A parts? She speaks directly. On point and no fillers. In interviews, I think that is okay since she’s acting normal and comfy but on stage, I am telling you, she transforms! FROM A CAT TO A LION! Swear she is so sweet as a human but she is such a FIGHTER as a representative. She can fit as Miss Universe 2021. Best believe, she is capable! 👑

Yas! TOO MUCH energy is overrated. And calmness is not for everyone with a good speaking skills. Example Adline, Miss India 2020, she's a great speaker in her batch but in the Q&A round she was just okay because the nerves got her.

that's part of the training of handling pressure. Miss Universe is looking for a girl morethan just doing the assignment. it's fo her to be more ready as she supposed to be before entering the stage.remember their main job after the cornation if chosen , one of this is being a spoke person not just by doing assignments. it's not rude its a professional way of preparing a girl in a presureable stage.
remember its not the judge whose pleasing the girls, its the girls selling themselves to the judge of why should they choose her. put it in a way of girls looking for a job as a Miss Universe.

I like Mr. Voltaire's question, coz this is what I also observed after their reigns. They tend to forget what they've stand for and known for. They focused to their respective careers, love life and even moved out of the country. The only Miss U that uphold her passion, commitment and dedication to her advocacies is Ms. Catriona Gray. No one can really beat that girl. She's one of kind.😍

Bea is a dark horse. Yes she is coming with the sash factor and the legacy of Pia and Cat as well as 10 consecutive placements on her shoulders. But she's rather underestimated because people question whether she has the goods, and because there is always that embedded societal prejudice against LGBTQIA+ people. I just hope she enjoys herself above all else and we the fans give her all the love, support, joy and positivity that we can.

She is a thinker. She thinks before she speaks. Very sensible answers. She's answering not to impress but to actually answer the questions which is a good thing.
After watching this interview of Bea, I can say that her answers are there, and it makes sense at all. What I wanted to point out is, her ideas are served in the table. However, she struggles on how she should attack or construct her words into a powerful answer. I still believe on Bea’s power! Laban, Pilipinas! 🇵🇭❤️
It’s okay look what happened to India who was a great speakers last year natalo sya ng Mexico. Sometimes it’s not about your answer. It’s the nag you handle your answers by being relax and compose .
TBH, Bea could really answer the questions ha, pero what she's lacking is impact and I'm pretty sure she's working on that now. We also have to give her props for being calm! Composure is really the key!

I dont like how they’re always expecting a theatrical answer every time. They want impact and drama and flamboyance but at the end of the day, thats not who Bea is. Her strength is quiet and simple and calm which is precisely why she’s a cut above the rest. Shes not ur stereotypical beauty queen and I think they should have highlighted that as well. We cant all be Catriona Gray. Also, most of the comments were extremely free-flowing, but if we’re hoping to see any improvement, I think there also has to be structure, one that Bea can easily remember and follow. @@marian1427 May point din po kayo. I also don't believe na kailangan pa i change yung pag approach niya sa questions. However, may point din yung mga panelist na she needs to speak with conviction or assurance kasi parang job interview lang yan at nag-apply ka as Ms U. So kailangan mong i prove yung sarili mo. How? by convincing your interviewer na ganito ganyan yung point mo.

Ang daming sinasabi ng mga nagmamarunong kahit wala namang saysay yung pinagsasasabi. I’m impressed with your response because you hit the nail on the head. The one thing that’s very important in every interview is structure. Kung sa job interview may STAR method, ganon din dapat sa beauty pageants para consistent palagi ang sagot at tama yung flow at specific yung sagot. Catriona clearly knows the importance of structure dahil sa bawat sagot nya, she always ties in her personal experiences and observations kaya hindi phony at generalized ang dating nung mga responses nya. Dun nanggagaling yung conviction sa sagot dahil nararamdaman yung sincerity nya. Dun dapat mag-focus yung mga trainers ng MUP dahil kung may structure ang pagsagot ng tanong, mababawasan ang kaba at takot ng mga candidates at hindi magpapaikot-ikot ang sagot.
