Poor owld Ben...… doing the work a 3 men while yere gone galavanting!!! WHOOOOP WHOOOP THE POSSY!
It's amazing what a difference a bit of water makes. Just managed to bale 2nd cut hay yesterday. Managed to film mowing and turning but it all went wrong filming the baling 😂
What sort fert your put out 3 weeks gerry before you cut, I'm having same prob with a field thinkin of putting bag of can to acre, surely be safe to cut in 3 weeks ?
Thank you for your reply, I have Brambles, Docks, Buttercups, Thistles and now Hemlock. It's a smallholding and I don't keep cattle or horses to eat the pasture. Would like to grow trees but the weeds are becoming a pain.
mrsgbee mircam high load at full rate should sort out most of your weeds. You may need to spray again next year to kill the docks thistles as the Mircam will only stunt them back now when their strong. You could go with more expensive sprays but I wouldn’t bother at this late stage of the year. Let me know how you get on
Tommy's hand no rake to row it. Hoping to buy a mower with grouper to put 2 row together that way.... if I could find one good enough. Looking a fresh 8ft taarup kv. One with little work done

Will you be showing some of the farms you will be looking at
tek bros yes that’s the plan jack
Hi Gerry anytime we leave the bales in the field to the next morning the crowes hole them at daylight do you get much of that
Yes we have had that too. Buggers when they start that. Hadn’t any issues this time

frclintpower I’d say at the current growth rates a bag to the acre would be used up in 3 weeks. Should be safe enough.

Oh and lots of Marsh Grass, I am also trying to grow willow as most is very wet land here in Wales.

What john deere is on the baler
Aaron Mackay 7810
James Twohig I thought it was but thanks
Aaron Mackay it’s actually a 7600
gerry6420 it looks like it’s a American 7600 tractor by the steps on it. She has some power to pull the fusion 3 aswell
I thought you left us altogether
tek bros no im still here 😝
What do you yous to stak bales
Patrick Mcmanus double bale lifter
We still haven’t ours cut
Why didn’t ye use the white film on the bales instead of Net? Film is a way better job.
liam hennessy haven’t yet but I’d like to try it
gerry6420 once you try it you won’t go back. No waste on the bales atall. We switched form net last year.
Fine crop have ye all barley finished and treated let someone graze sheep on it worked for me few years back
Patrick Oconnell yes all barley is in and treated.
Why don’t you windrow it?
Archie Fowler I was wondering too. I’d start crying if we’d to go back to baling our of the swarth
