After watching MrMeola's mega modded series on Fjordor, and now watching Syntac's video. I now wanna start fresh on Fjordor. I love the beginning of ark, there's just something about starting fresh on a brand new map and then turning to punch a tree, Ark 😊
Go for it. Nothing like starting a map, new or old 😂 Just keep in mind that MrMeola, who I also watch, didn’t do a lot of the stuff and didn’t tame most of the map Dino’s available on Fjordur. He was also heavily modded just like on Lost Islands. Something I find disappointing. At least Syntac focuses on the Dino’s available on the map he plays 😊
@@foxymacadoo I'm gonna wait until I have a pc and the mods that Syntac uses (Stack mod, Ark editions, Dino storage etc.) Bc I feel like it would be a much better playable experience. Plus the base I have on Fjordor is too valuable to loose
Can definitely relate to the Jurassic movies. When my brother and I were kids we would always fast-forward through the beginning of the movies until we got to the dino scenes.
22:05 I prefer the RockDrake over the Maywing for travel because of the obvious larger health pool higher damage and it’s ability to climb, the Maywing is obviously faster but the RockDrake is still extremely fast and a hell of a lot stronger! You can also shoot off the back of a RockDrake!
Yeah drakes are better all around mounts. Additionally most things don't aggro onto them, and what does you can turn invisible to ignore. Also a big thing for me in regards to travel: you don't have to hold forward like the maewing.
In dominion they were more trying to wrap up the series so they didn’t really focus much on the dinosaurs but in the end the outcome was the same as in the start except without that one place holding dinosaurs

I run a private server with all of Syntac's settings. Tried the alpha dragon solo with only a bred and mutated deinonychus. Worked like a charm - 2 ground phases and it was dead, almost no damage taken. Easiest fight Ive done yet on this map. Did bring wyvern milk, but it wasn't needed. Just attack the left foot (the foot on the right if your facing the dragon), it cant hit you with fire or bite attacks.
about that crafting skill ini stuff, it even has the option to restore the health and other stat values so you not always have to heal up after using the potion.
You know we have the dodorex and dodowyvern in fear evolved. I really wish with aberration we got the dodoreaper because some mods already have a model for it. It would spawn anywhere on abb and it would require charge to damage but then it would have a fire breath and ghostly seeker minions
i feel like the Jurassic world vs Jurassic park dinos come down to how they are viewed by the cast, in park they were serious threats to lives, a danger to anyone, in world i feel they were more treated like pets more then anything
I’m so intrigued with how you work out the breeding and mutations. I’m working on my Thylas now. They are doing their thing while I’m at work, so we’ll see how it goes. 😊
Fenrier, isn’t to bad. I used rexes and yuty. Just keep your distance as he can dismount you, which happened to me first time, as I was trapped close to him by his minions and died immediately.
*Laughs in fossil fighters* seriously tho i was hyped when the theri was given screentime in a movie. Its my absolute favorite dinosaur since fossil fighters and was happy to see it in ark and jurassic park/world.
Hey syntac I have a Problem with my game and it lets me knock out creatures but there hunger does not go down do you know a way to fix it was it like a setting or something because when I do public stuff I can tame stuff
i usually call Therizinos freddy krueger xD . Fun Fact there have never been a whole fossil skeleton found of Therizino. only the arm and claws. so they dont know how it look actually
I have a question for anyone who may know. So I have my base on the back of a megacheleon. What happens when I teleport it to different realms does everything stay in tact on the back? Just I’m worrried I’ll tp and lose everything as I know what this game is like?
Super fun! I want to see someone take on a big fight with a compy/microraptor/dodo army LOL!! I'm a little bummed, for some reason my taxidermy doesn't work for me. I've tried it on everything from dodos to bosses and I never get a skin to mount. I'm console but I've read/seen/been told the same thing a hundred times: equip the tool to hotbar, approach fresh corpse, right trigger to collect ( I have also tried left trigger and a number of combinations to no avail) and then loot as usual after skin collection. Every time I wack it with my taxidermy tool all it does is harvest the usual meat and hide. I've got half a dozen empty taxidermy stands littering my yard with nothing on them 😥

So this is why I couldn't find very many high level Therizinos in the main map, they good ones are all in Jotunheim.
