I would make that rear baffle a little bit higher just to reduce the chance of losing siphon during a power outage but that's an amazing build there I've been looking for a video like this
Dude your gettin after it with this build I like it. 👍🏻 to drill the large holes for the bottom, use a hole saw with your drill press. It will come out perfect. Cheap at Lowe’s too.
Hi, I think it's ok in a Fishroom, but much to noicy in a livingroom. Can u show us an silent solution? all the best Andreas from Frankfurt Main Germany
okay, i'm still at the first few seconds but i cant help commenting this: what you did wrong on that piping is that the of the ones you need to insert must be cut. so it'll look kind of like how the edge of a needle would look. i have not seen your previous video so i might be redundant on this, but you need to submerge all the pieces first to remove all the air, then while they're submerged, you put them together, the you take them out and hang them at the side of the aquarium. trust me, it'll work.
Eric Randall No they’re custom. The black hose clamps are from a sunsun canister filter, but I bought the blue L pipes and the clear tubing. There will also be another blue L pipe on both so the water flows horizontally.
I was going too do exactly what you were going to do now you just saved me money.
Thanks great idea torch
Hi there,
Just found your video and Im going to try to replicate it on my 500L thanks for all the information!
Bro glad to see you making vids still. I remember 5 years ago I used your overhead filter instruction. Take care

It's ok, I don't judge. I, too, drink mostly just water 😜

That’s such a small pump in regards to GPH, how is it not able to handle the return
😮i want to know how you start it, also if your power goes out does it restart by it self?..😊and how can you prevent a flood?....😊
Hey Dude, well done!
A question, Why did not you make a bridge using same material as the boxes to flow the water instead of that pvc pipes?
Omid Farhang good question, didn’t think of that, maybe I still can.
What is the maximum gallon of water can filter of a 20 gallon undersump?freshwater aquarium
How many GPH is your pump? I have a nano system and mine is only rated at 210gph, im thinking the overflow pipe would still work
I don’t have it anymore I don’t remember the GPH, it may say in the video series
PPC? Are you Canadian???
What's the measurements..all I heard u say was 5" for the sides...one more question..if u can redo it would u make the return box larger?
The big problem is how to reduce th huge noise. 😢
What flow rate is it handling
Lose the expansion coupler for unions!!!!!!
Whats the measirements??
Off topic, but who makes those returns?
Eric Randall Which part?
JDO Fishtank
The 2 black and blue contraptions at 17:53. Forgive me if these are the most common returns made. I’m new. :)

Thanks, those are clever!
How did you prime it
Brian Fox u are not paying attention.
I didnt see the prime either ... it goes from water flowing in. To just magically coming out the other side
Hallo what is the size of the box?
too noisy, hubby would kick me out!!!
He’s lame
None un buona idea x se si ferma l pompa che rimanda l aqua n auario t s alaga casa
