He had to continuously top himself to continue to increase his following. Hence the huge jump in aggression from Portrait to Antichrist Superstar. Turned it up to a whole nother level.

Gidget was the one who gave the band it's look and style. They had no real look before that and Brian still had brown hair. They never would've made it without this look.
