  • Some of the action from Friday at the half century of progress see 3 v-12 conversion tractors, vintage harvesting equipment and just a few D21s. Also check out Precision Paint in Epworth Iowa if you have a project that needs the professional touch the 4520 that they brought down was hands down one of the best looking John Deere’s at the show

The Oliver 500 and 600s were David Brown 880 and 990 built in Huddersfield England. The Chamberlain tractors were manufactured in West Australia and were legendary in their day doing more than any other tractor to open up Australia.

cool video and the M farmall was a popular tractor for repowering they sold a kit to put a 2 71 detroit in the tractor and they also sold a rarer kit to put a shephard diesel a three cylinder if i recall

Thank you for showing the plowing/Tilling
On the (870 CASE) was that engine used in there construction line. Did the Farming side of tracker use a different ( HP) because Construction line used low power to scoop front bucket. As with Farming it seems in my Humble opinion you want the least amount of fuel BURN at a Higher speed forward😊 just asking the Difference.😊❤😊 Love your films of the outstanding Farm show. Boy how LITTLE the great very well behaved HORSE 🐎 plowed versus the especially wide row the track ( I call them Dozers) without blade.😊

Thanks for checking out the video yeah it’s crazy to see how far things came from the 1900s mostly horses to the 50-60s big iron doing the job

Another comment I have is. The Double tractor with the manul wheel grader. That had a small Detroit Diesel in her. I own a (353) & (8V-71) both RUN and are in my Retirement TOYS. 😊 Back in the 1970s a farmer had one outside his gate at end of drive by highway. Me and my sister use to get on and spin those BIG wheels 😊 well one day the farmer asked me if I wanted to grade for him.😊 My arm muscles were Tired before we went 50 feet. I think the guys running them back in day got as massive workout with those grader wheel control for mold board 😊

My grandpa had one that was similar but it was so rusted only one wheel moved never had the chance to try it behind a tractor. The Detroit diesel the most convent way to convert diesel fuel to smoke and noise, sure do love the sound of a 2 stroke diesel reved up

@@BIBSTERSrepairshop YES the (8V-71) is in my 1971 SeaGrave Engine. Mated to a Spicer
5 speed. I put the stacks going up instead of the way they came out underneath. My wife's ideas
Like you said, to keep the smoke off people watching on the Parade route. Man she just
Revs up going down the road, it's music to my ears. I must shift by ( RPM) to get her in gear.

Great video but I think you miss-spoke at 19:04, you said those 500 & 600 were made by David Bradley - I think you meant to say David Brown, Made in Meltham Mills ,UK.

@@martingardener90 this one is definitely a bucket list show in my opinion. I will say from 2021 to this year I bet there was almost twice the people and you have to either rent a golf cart or bring a side by side. Start planning now and call on a cart right when it opens I think this time it was march 1st. But it’s totally worth it also plan to spend at least 2 days if you want to think about seeing most of the stuff.

27:03 that OLIVER 880 is wild!!!
YOU WANT 4wheel drive... I WILL GIVE YOU FOUR WEEL DRIVE YOU GIVE ME TWO TRACTORS!!!! what? ok... thinkin they gunna use the rear of one put on the other... but noooooooo they just weld them together with a pin and some hydrollikz... lol

Yeah the amount of tandem tractors at this show is always neat there was a John Deere 2510 and 60 that were hooked together too

    • @alexmikhael5061

@@BIBSTERSrepairshop does havin the dual or tandem tractors help with PTO POWER for stuff like bailing or other higher power needed at the PTO (whatever task that would be!!) ?? like, runnin a bigger bailer than ONE SINGLE TRACTOR OF SAME SIZE CAN, cuz the front one pulls & the back one supplied ""FULL"" power to the PTO ???? would that be a ''thing'' ???

    • @BIBSTERSrepairshop
      @BIBSTERSrepairshop  ปีที่แล้ว

@@alexmikhael5061 so you would only have the pto from the back tractor but you could set it up that it could be using almost all the power to run the pto have the transmission in neutral so it’s just being drug along and the front engine just has to pull the load. Not sure how that would work but you could run something that would use 100% of the one tractors power on the pto.
