Best way to do it is to not even put the laces under the tab thing in the middle, and then lift the laces up a lil then stretch the shoe to the side so the laces look flat, then do the bunny ear thing and tuck it into your shoe, and THEN put the laces through the finale holes like done in the video.
Also the way he sets up the laces is how you wanna do it, just dont put it through that middle tab thing. And i mean the tab on the middle of the shoe, not the silver tabs.

What I did was I factory laced both my pairs. I’m scared to wear my crispy af1s to the point that I don’t wear them at all and just go with my beater pair of af1s. the only time I ever unlaced the crispy pair was to put on the custom lace charms I bought for them (which looked dope btw). To be honest the only shoes that should do this are ones that the tongue is strapped permanently so it doesn’t move around. ie skate shoes. No matter how loose your laces are, your feet are still snug.

Thats why if you want this look i recomend getting a half size smaller than your actual size like the shoes fit with out you having to tie them and with time they really loosen up
