Inshallah I too feel the same, I just came to know about her yesterday, I never knew her at all( I am from India) , I was searching for something and was suggested one of the video about rights of women in Islam which she gave in Houston, and I stay in houston and then went into a rabbit hole of finding more about her and I am so devastated and so depressed on knowing what happened with her, just thinking about the atrocities which have happened to her, Again and again all I think is her video of rights of women in islam, which she gave when she was just 19 years old and going to be a sophomore in MIT and here we are who couldnt protect her rights… just this thing is making me cry profusely to Allah asking for the Opening as he is Al- Fattah- The Opener, to open a way for Dr Aafia to be released and spend her rest of life with her kids Ameen Ya Allah..
