It's a HILUX WOOHOO!!!!!! The 1980s Toyota Hiluxs are my favorite trucks in the world irl, so I've been looking for an rc version. I know FMS has made one, but they discontinued their one, so im glad I've got another option! The 4wd 1984 Toyota Hilux is my all-time fav, but this is only 2 years back, so it's fine! Gotta love this man. I'll try and get one one day. Thanks for the video! Ps you should put a New Zealand flag on the back, as a reference to the old New Zealand Toyota Hilux commercials with Barry Crump, and as a kiwi myself, it would make me happy!
Ive always been terrified of taking rc cars into water since im just getting into them, and usually water and electric doesnt mix well😂😂 im super surprised how well this thing handled the water so well
If you put set screws in the chassis. Where the body screws go you won’t need to put screws in every time you put the body on. Just make them stick out enough to hold the body on. You just have to put one side on first and the other side you will have to pull the body open a little to go over the set screws. Just make sure the set screws are sticking out enough. It a lot easier than it sounds!! Lol 😂 Also you don’t really need the body posts in the bed. It will look a lot better. If you keep them cut them down. Hope this helps a little.. Congrats on your new truck!!!👍👍
Very nice truck body for sure, but I would rather have a little more plastic on the chassis and two-speed tranny, lockers and maybe portal axles. Having used trucks with lockers (and portals) it's pretty much mandatory for me now.
chickens can do everything than can to keep me from having a Hilux in america, while i may not be able go get the real thing, i most definitely can get this ! 😂😂

It's not Mojave 2, the chassis is called Trail Finder 2
This RTR stuff is insane.
I remember assembling these as kits back in the 90s. Kinda more fun in a way.
That truck is AMAZING!!! It handled all that stuff like a CHAMP!!! PLUS ALL THOSE SCALE DETAILS!!!
