my sear was fine, no ridge, but i did polish the shit out of the aluminum bit where the sear sits. works really nice, i polished up all the contact points on the steel bits too and it feels good.
i understand that the vale sping push the sear pin, and make it a little bit unsmooth. i think you should put vale knock + vale spring + sear. And attached to frame with 2 pin for testing Maybe the frame pin will alignment the sear pin and solve your problem
I bought 3 5ku frames and only have 1 that the sear is smooth in turning around, have 1 the cylinder can't even go through the sear. The trigger group box of 5ku frame is really a lucky draw.
There is only one 5KU frame, but in my case, the sear is smooth enough to work. I think the sear is not smooth in the hammer group, but after assembling the frame and the sear pin, the sear is centered, which is thought to reduce friction. Why don't you check the sear after you've fully put it together.
I prefer for general Advanced frames cowcow disconnector and valve reset. For my 5ku frame I put the cowcow Advanced frame sear inside much better and but a diffrent firing pin spring in. And I polish some parts and I use grease no oil shit so it keeps where it should belong.
Hello, have you received any feedback regarding issues with the Frame 5 KU? My thumb safety doesn’t work properly; even with the hammer not cocked, I can engage it, which is causing shooting malfunctions.” “Are there any defects with the sear?”
Its a mixed bag right now, make sure you got everything lined up properly. Try different hammers / different safeties if you have on hand to see whats going on. Check the machining and see what you might need to file
@@KnucklesGSM “I tried the thumb safeties from 5ku / Marui / AW Custom, same issue ^^ it’s like the hammer sear is missing 1 mm to make contact with it.”

I don't know about the exo, but the normal slides from 5ku are 7075
“Do you know if the Masterpiece hammer sear is compatible with the 5ku frame?”

How did you fit the cowcow advanced frame sear in a 5ku frame?
