I miss this show. I'm so happy that most of the actors went on to have really successful lives.
This show always touched my heart, being that I grew up in those times! I love all the episodes!
Here's another fun fact. In the Last Episode when you hear Kevin's "Son" saying "Hey Dad You Wanna Play Catch." That was Daniel Stern's Real Life Son.

Ben Savage, Freds younger brother was on the Wonder Years as a neighborhood kid & a underclassmen at Kevin Arnolds school b4 he went on to his own show Boy Meets World & Girl Meets World
He played Cupid.

Good thing they had him as the dad. He did a good job. That show was litty. I was 10 or 12 glued to it after watching spongebob and Kim Possible lol

Fred Savage didn't make his feature film debut in 2007. He was in "The Princess Bride" and I also remember him in "The Boy Who Could Fly." Those were both films in the 80s before "The Wonder Years" aired its first season.

He was in several movies in the 80s little monsters, the wizard and princess bride, the boy who could fly and I remember in school in the late 80s we would watch Runaway Ralph lol that was such a cool movie when you were in Elementary school an you actually get to watch that instead of real work lol and if I remember correctly he was in a movie called vice verse lol I’m sure he was in a few more movies

Incidentally I remember that in the first Timothy Dalton, James Bond movie, 'The Living Daylights', the main female lead was played by a Maryam D'Abo. As that is an unusual surname I wonder if she is related to Olivia D'Abo of 'The Wonder Years'?

Guess what, I started watching the WYrs back home in 1990 and never so the End, but last year or two years ago I was searching Netflix and I saw all the series complete in 2 weeks. I was suprises...I felt like if its was back then. 28 years ago.

The only reason Dan got the audition for Jack Arnold was because he was dating Joanna Kerns at the time. And Growing Pains was a top show in 1888.

I noticed quite a resemblance between Dan Lauria and Jason Hervey in pictures taken when the series was filmed. Are they related or is it just an example of brilliant casting? I was a fan of the series during its run, but I didn't notice the "father-son" resemblance until I looked at the pictures today.
Loria was also in one episode of Boy Meets World
There should have been a sequel about when Kevin and his friends are adults. It could have been set in the years 1978 to 1983.

LondonCityGirl Yup! Same here in regard to the repeats. Last year I also watched every episode of every season in order on Netflix. This is, indeed, a great show. Now I'm a big Game of Thrones fan. :-P
First off amazing how cultured and grounded those 3 child actors are! Goes to prove if well structured, acting is just another profession and should not ruin people... definite role models for aspiring child actors! My second point is why make such a case of Schwimmer; some of us could care less of "Friends" and so he was certainly not more important than other guest roles to talk about. Lastly, I've watched every episode of "The Big Bang Theory" at least 5 times and I can't for the life of me remember in which one Danica played...help!?

I used to have a big crush on Kevin ha.
I had good tastvas a kid because he’s still gorgeous ha.
I can actually remember the years 1968 to 1973 when that show was set. Even though I was very young back then. I was 2 to 7 in those years. By the way there is a rougher, tougher film set in 1972 to 1974 in Glasgow about a group of young people growing up called Neds. You can see the trailer and scenes from it on here TH-cam. It is like a gritty working class version of The Wonder Years set on a tough council estate. It is a brilliant historical youth film. But be prepared for scenes of violence.

The wonder year was one of my favorite Show. Today TV Show are awful
Is it just me or did both Kevin and Winney actors Marry people who looked CONSIDERABLY like each other? They were really that age while filming and narrating life that they were literally living. That had to be a real mind f----. "That 70's Show" jacked a LOT of swag from the wonder years including the older, rebellious sister...
Its weird the women who played his mom in the show said the show was canceled because of a sexual harassment lawsuit. Even crazier that Fred was fired from the reboot because of sexual harassment claims.
With a little help from my friends by Joe Cocker is by far the best version of that song better even than the Beatles. When he sang it at Woodstock it brought a tear to my eye.
His voice on that song is GOLDEN.
