I am glad, you splurged and got yourself all 60 small Distess ink pads, for you deserve it, especially after all the videos, you habe made for us! Great idea!
I put my sponge circles in the bottom with the ink side up, the black velcro side out. That way I can just tap my tool into the bottom & it picks up the pad without having to touch it. Love those mini inks !!
I LOVE this technique. I've really struggled with my distress markers & your video really inspired me. Thank you so much! I also have the mini ink cubes & I love them. I store the pad underneath as well but flip the pad over so the black side is facing out. It's so easy to just put the ink blending tool against black side & just pull it out ready to go. Thanks again! I'm off to try your technique right now!😊
Hello and thank you for the great video. My question is how did you get the stencil design on the card? I watched the beginning a few times but I didn't see how you put the stencil design on the card. Thanks Karen
At the beginning of the video I was using the White Distress Crayon and the stencil. I was filling in the stencil by colouring with the crayon and using my finger to smooth out the area and make sure the crayon got into the small areas of the stencil. I then let the crayon dry for about 5 minutes so it wouldn't smudge when I went over it with the inks.
Was just wondering if you have ever used a cray pen for resist, and if it works, might be too thick? I am still learning how to “paint” with it. Way fun even though I am not very adept at it yet!😂🤣
Great technique! This is the first project with distress crayons that I actually like. Very pretty!
Thank you so much!

I have never used a Cray Pen.
How long did you let it dry ? Thanks !!
Not too long. You just don't want the crayons to smudge when you go over them. Maybe 5 minutes.
