Judging by the shield alone, its basically a Peltast, or in a Military Geeks perspective, they are Javelin throwers and can work as a Phalangite if necessary(which is rare)

Ptolemy. Famed Alexandrian astronomer & mathematician. A young Shiro-faced warrior that wields a spear & shield and his old version, almost looks like a Caster and holds a book along with a sword. Altogether, they shoot beams. He's a mix Saber, Lancer and Caster but he's an Archer. Did the creators get drunk again? 😅😵💫
Like how archer is the only one not represented yet its the class they gave him, i bet they really wanted to give an extra class but didnt let the intrusive thoughts win
Not the astronomer but the general of Iskandar and progenitor of the Ptolemaic dynasty, making him the ancestor of Cleopatra by over 250 years.
It is still possible, however, that they combined both Ptolemies.
Archer class is more about flexibility and adaptablility than being an actual Archer.

@@amarnathg2998 90++ nodes always have irregular mob set ups most of the times (means not 3-3-x) which makes double core comps so popular these days, especially one AOE and one ST, this new guy in the vid can change between the 2 types of np at his own will (unlike Mélusine, once she turns to AOE she can't reverse back to ST)

I feel like old man Ptolemy should've been a Caster, but the devs are insistent on making the Archer class the SSR husbando class and keep Merlin and Waver as they are in the Caster SSR males.

I've always wanted Berserker Henry & Jeckyll from proto since his transformation is way more badass than just switching class

The greek with latin characters hurts ever so slightly but all in all, Im pleased. His 3d ascension np confuses me however, its called "βιβλιοθήκη βασιλεύς" which doesn't exactly translate to "king's library" which is fine, but the voice actor sounds like hes saying "βιβλιοθήκη βασιλέων (library of the kings"). I duuno man

The official qualification for Archer has always been "has the ability to repeatedly fire powerful projectiles" since 2004, it has never been a meme.
It isn't due to the meme, it's due to the qualifiers of being an archer.
One does not literally need to have a bow and arrows to be summoned in the class, just like in real life in old war terms those who took ranged stances were colloquially referred to as archers, even if they did not fire a bow.
