Hi Avi, I have just started my preparation for GMAT, I came across your video and it is definitely helping me to change the way I have been looking at numbers. Will like to stay with you in my journey for GMAT, I am sure you will be a great mentor for me. THANKS A LOT 😊😊
I'm just stumbling on your videos now and this is SUCH great content! Thanks for your explanations, my GMAT test is in a month from now and I've been focusing on IR and VR for the past month and a half, QR is so much more fun!
I might be the only person with this issue,,but when I see a ratio of say x:y I immediately think of a numerator and a denominator, and so the addition of a third column -whether as a result of addition or subtraction- or the comparison of individual columns vs each other seems a bit counterintuitive. Personally, I prefer the word "proportion" over the word "ratio" as that seems to lend itself to more than just x:y and seems a bit more intuitive, as it is .more akin to percentages.
