Tekno team 2000 was a short lived tag team in 1995, they had a few matches but didnt have as much success like the smokin gunns did, therefore they faded away, this theme was only used like 6-7 times
This is the style WWF thought people would have in only 5 years time, I can accept a bizarre guess for a gimmick set 40 or 50 years in the future but not 5 years
I remember this team got a write-up in the old WWF Magazine yet I think I actually only saw them on Raw one time. I remember it was a match joined in progress following a commercial and the announce team spent the entire match talking about Diesel.
I think the gimmick was supposed to be based off this show Tekwar. I don't think anyone remembers it form the early-mid 90's. William Shattnar was one of the main characteres on the show. He did a promo on King's Court when he flipped the king because the king kept making fun of him. The show Tekwar used to come on after Raw.
I wouldn't be surprised if it WAS based off of Tekwar but this gimmick gives off a space themed science fiction show like "Andromeda" given their outfits and symbols on them, like they're soldiers serving some spacefaring organization.
They were sent to USWA not long after they debuted and spent about a year there to polish up. Chad Fortune kept botching a lot of spots and was known to complain a lot in the locker room. He had a ton of heat with boys. By the time they came back in the summer of 1996, no one cared about them, they looked even sillier with the face paint, the NWO was in full swing, Austin was coming up and they became jobbers.
And that’s the first thing everyone in the audience said as soon as these guys came out for their first match. You can hear some of the crowd yelling “STF!” and he gives them a nod.
Vince McMahon for you. He HATED it when a wrestler he didn’t personally create was known outside of his company. Everyone immediately knew that was Erik Watts. Some in the crowd even kept chanting “STF!” and he gives them a nod.
Before that, they jobbed out to the Bodydonnas and then the Smoking Gunns. Still, it was odd seeing Techno Team 2000 have a match against the Godwinns for some reason like Techno Team 2000 was up against the past but got beaten by the past.
They were actually going to be set up for a fairly decent run (the female fans LOVED them) but Chad Fortune (the Not Erik Watts Guy) had a ton of heat in the locker room because he wouldn’t stop complaining and kept botching moves in the ring.
@Trialbyscythe That match was actuallly supposed to have been broadcasted on Saturday Night's Main Event, but was edited out supposedly because the top ring rope broe during the match.I heard it directly from an insider that it got edited out because Jim Neidhart had renogtiated his contract at the 11th hour, which was why the Hart Foundation had put over the Rockers to begin with.
Yea you are right. They came in May 95 as faces and beat a jobber team or two, as well as Horowitz & the Brawler. They also were beating the Heavenly Bodies around the house show circuit- I have one of those matches but didn't get a chance to watch it yet. Left in July 95. They disappeared and returned in May 96 but in 96 they didn't win any matches and were neutral (used as face and heel). They lost to Godwinns, Smoking Gunns and Body Donnas. By June 96 they were gone again. Very strange.
I was kind of happy to see them again as I felt that they had a cool gimmick, great theme music and looked good in the ring. It's too bad that they were just used as jobbers.
@@girlgarde Thanks for the comments on my Tekno Team 2000 video. If you are interested in getting some wrestling memorabilia such as DVDs, autographed 8x10s, or other merchandise please send me a message or give me your email.
@evilmidget yeah the thing is i never saw them compete in wwf ring. In 90's i saw well done, heavlny bodies steniers bros in 1993. were they ever in a wwf ppvs in 90's speaking of wrestling?
These two look like they're members of the High Guard from the Sci-fi tv series "Andromeda". Still, they're pretty cool looking, had kickass theme music and were good in the ring. It's too bad they weren't successful in the WWF.
I remember the first match I saw of them, the fans started chanting "STF" at Watts and he pumped his fist to the chant. I hope that didn't put them in the doghouse. By the way, what was their gimmick? Were they "from the future" or something?
@landrykkb The Rockers won the tag titles from the Hart Foundation at a dark event, but the title win was never acknowledged on TV and the titles went back to the Harts. Kinda sad, that could never happen these days!
i dont think so, if they were in the doghouse, Vince would have buried em then and there. ui watched their 1st match, watts was well and truly pissed off about something at the time, maybe thats what you're refering to.
@dennisbergkamp17 the Killer Bees were also supposed to have a huge push with the Tag Titles as well, and let's not forget the best champions that never were:The Rockers.
when Watts was in NWA/WCW before his WWE run. His finisher was the STF (similar to the move that Cena uses). So apparently he was acknowledging his past accomplishments...which at that time in WWE was a BIG NO NO. If it happened somewhere else...in WWE's world...IT NEVER HAPPENED.
BRING BACK TEKNO TEAM 2000
Tekno Team 2000 went back in time from the year 2000... to 1995.
Back then, the year 2000 seemed so far away even in the 90s. It was the ultimate futuristic year.
Fuck, even in the future nothing works!
😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
3-2-1… Have a nice day!
Tekno team 2000 was a short lived tag team in 1995, they had a few matches but didnt have as much success like the smokin gunns did, therefore they faded away, this theme was only used like 6-7 times
I remember watching these guys when they debuted as a team. Arm Drag Team 2000 was more like it.
more like snooze team 2000 lmao
Knight Rider 2000? Every thing in 2000 in it seems too be SHITE!!!!
Better than the young bucks at least.
imagine if Paul London And Brian Kendrick Debuted in 1995 And they were tekkno team 2000 doing the things they were doing in 06 oof
miss this tag team
This theme reminds me of when I was playing Starfox on SNES a long time ago.
On wwe site they said one of the most boring tag teams of all time but i think they are better than todays wrestlers no joke
This is the style WWF thought people would have in only 5 years time, I can accept a bizarre guess for a gimmick set 40 or 50 years in the future but not 5 years
they should of been managed by Doc brown of back to the future, brought back from 2075 to save the wrestling business in the flying delorean!
Perhaps they should've called them Techno Team 3000 as they seem like they're part of a futuristic space organization.
I have a sudden urge to watch Logan's Run.
Or battlestar galactica
Or play snes starfox.
I've been watching the wwf/wwe for 15 years I honestly dont remeber these guys
Apparently the mullet will still be in style in the year 2000.
evrbody In some parts of california there are mullets and in the entire state of Utah too so yep
I remember this team got a write-up in the old WWF Magazine yet I think I actually only saw them on Raw one time. I remember it was a match joined in progress following a commercial and the announce team spent the entire match talking about Diesel.
I remember that. It showed how bland and boring these guys were.
WATT A DROP-KICK! ...
*Grabs coat.*
these guys were the future of tag team wrestling!!!! :(
Joseph Garza 😂😂😂😂😂😂😃😃😃😃😃😃😂😂😂😂😂😂Omg😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😃😃😃😃😃
LMFAOOOOOOOOO
The future of boring tag teams lmao
the future of future endeavored!
New Breed disagrees.
And when they came back in 1996 they got beat by exercise fanatics, cowboy wannabes and pig farmers which was lame.
Great theme!!
Indeed it is. It gives off a dynamic futuristic vibe like Techno Team 2000 really ARE from the future and ready to kick ass.
What a unusual tag team. Something like this you can never forget.
I could see this song in the final dungeon in one of the Final Fantasy clones of the 90's.
This is great!!!
thanks for posting it
I been searching for Tekno Team 2000 theme for awhile now....sweet!!

@zackysyed Sounds like something you heard in a SNES game back in the day.
Love the team and theme
Ah yes, the tag team of the future, from the future. Believe it or not, they only lasted a few weeks and then they were gone!
They were sent to USWA not long after they debuted and spent about a year there to polish up. Chad Fortune kept botching a lot of spots and was known to complain a lot in the locker room. He had a ton of heat with boys. Chad fortune becme a monster truck driver. The day i realize he was a former Federation wrestler i marked out lol
Sounds like it should be a double dragon theme
Whenever I see Donald and Douglas from Thomas the Tank Engine I think of Techno Team 2000. Or vice versa, I forget which.
Am I the only one here who thinks these two look like a middle aged Spanky and Paul London?
Chad Fortune became one Hell of Monster Truck Driver after his wrestling career.
Have you looked that up so people
Will think your
Some wrestling expert 😆 very sad

These guys put Hardy Boyz and Edge & Christian to shame
Heck-no Team 2000
they look so 90s
Troy (Erik Watts) : One of the worst wrestlers ever. Now retired.
Travis (Chad Fortune) : Ended up becoming a Monster Truck driver.
Whats jaring that hes last match on tv was in roh
Fortune did beat Goldberg in WCW before he debuted and had his streak
Was Chad's Monster Truck futuristic looking and did he use this theme music to introduce himself? /chuckles/
@@girlgardeHe actually drove the Superman truck.
This is a great theme. I dont even remember these assholes but this theme rivals Real American for greatest of all time.
These guys remind me of Paul London and Brian Kendrick
Erik Watts 's STF was one of the best
Holy crap, it's Erik Watts.
And that’s the first thing everyone in the audience said as soon as these guys came out for their first match. You can hear some of the crowd yelling “STF!” and he gives them a nod.
I never saw TT2K, but i love this song so much that i want this to be my song if i were to wrestle.
Same here, it's a dynamic and futuristic sounding theme.
Be glad ya didn’t see them.
I remember erik watts jobbing to rick rude in 1993 wcw.
Better than most of today's wrestlers
nice theme...rmeber seing them on singapore tv when when i was younger
Sounds like something out of a videogame.
Troy and Travis lol...man, someone in the office didn't like Bill Watts
Vince McMahon for you. He HATED it when a wrestler he didn’t personally create was known outside of his company. Everyone immediately knew that was Erik Watts. Some in the crowd even kept chanting “STF!” and he gives them a nod.
youre my HERO!!!!
me 2 believe it or not, i had idea for a futuristic type gimmick at my next independent show, i was gonna use this as my theme.
This would have been a good theme for Strike Force
he has nice clothes and nice theme
@MrTantraMan Chad Fortune (Travis) went on to drive monster trucks. Don't know if he still does.
This theme always sounded looped to me,I wonder if there's a Full version around somewhere?
One of the guys here (Chad Fortune) gave Goldberg his first real loss, not Kevin Nash.
I saw them in one televised match in '95 on Wrestling Challenge and the following year on RAW,they jobbed out to the Godwinns.
Before that, they jobbed out to the Bodydonnas and then the Smoking Gunns.
Still, it was odd seeing Techno Team 2000 have a match against the Godwinns for some reason like Techno Team 2000 was up against the past but got beaten by the past.

i don't think anyone has ever used the "erik watts paid his dues" argument before. interesting.

Another one more to uncaged.
@affinite1
I think they were going for a Blade runner/Shadow run look. Theme music is cool though
Sounds like something out of the Double Dragon arcade games.
you could put max moon with tt2k and would think he would fit their gimmick
That makes me want to see Max Moon and Techno Team 2000 in a faction together doing futuristic stuff to dazzle the audience.
Sure does.
Imagine if they came back from 2020 and did a 12 Monkeys gimmick. It was 1995 and that movie came out.
thanx, for some bizarre reason, the quality of its a little bit bad, onlyon youtube, it plays crystal clear on my media player.
New retro wave before it was retro and new.
Sounds like something from an arcade space shooting type of game.
Erik Watts looks like Rene Dupree in the pic

True foil
Even though they came and gone very quickly!
These 2 Guys would be tag team champions nowadays bc the wrestling sucks so bad…..
@killtheroundeyes
Erik Watts paid his dues?
Wasn't this around the time Bill Watts had got ousted as wcw booker?
troy & travis - sounds a little bit like beavis & butt-head
troy is the one on the left side
travis is the one on the right side
stupid outfits but ahead of their time
