My daughter who is doing her 2 year youth visa, and living in London, is actually coming back. She got a job offer at Shaw Theatre in Niagara on the Lake. She’ll be back this coming week. She’s the assistant stage manager of The Secret Garden and My Fair Lady. She said she would only come back before her 2 years were up if she got a job offer from Shaw. Then it happened. She was recommended for the position, didn’t apply. My friends and coworkers all want to go see the plays . Thanks for your inspiring flosstubes, and see you next time😊

Thank you! I've decided that thinking of finishing as a separate hobby from stitching is helpful, at least for me. They are related, but we are also no more or less stitchers because finishing may not also be our thing too. Thank you for watching!

Hi Molly! Yes, I had so much fun finishing those pieces. Some similar techniques, some not, but a chance to experiment and just see what happens. Doc and Wesley are currently settling in for their first nap of the day (eating breakfast really takes it out of them). 🤣 Later, they'll hug the radiators, nap some more, tussle, and repeat. Perfect lives! ❤️

Super FFOs. Seagulls FFO came out especially cute. I think it would be awesome if you designed some interesting houses! I’m always thinking that I should just figure out how to make myself simple motifs and patterns. How hard can it be right? Then I remember that I just started cross stitching in December and might be getting ahead of myself. 😂
Thank you! Maybe something there will be houses. I think, for a beginner designer, they'd be a good place to start -- lots of the structure and design already done for you. If you're already thinking of designs yourself, that's a good sign!
