@Vhs Vcr--CORRECTION: Low tires, which in Calif. is even More dangerous! Because Low tires are not a driving hazard, but rather, since low pressure reduces gas mileage, it adds to the problem of Global Warming. That's why EVERY repair/maintenance service at a Repair Facility REQUIRES BY Calif. STATUTE, that the air pressure of tires be put at Mfg Specifications. I'm NOT joking!
@@ronmcmartin4513 Uh, yes, low tire pressure IS a (real) danger. Especially with front wheel drive vehicles, if/when you have to hit the brakes in a hurry, the vehicle will "pull" in the direction OF the low tire. Imagine driving on a two lane highway, or on a highway with multiple lanes in one direction, with a low left front tire; applying the brakes quickly and hard, the vehicle will move at least a little amount INTO the lane to the vehicle's left (it would depend on HOW low it is, how far over it will go) possibly putting vehicles IN that lane in danger of being struck. If a motorcycle was the "other" vehicle, death of the operator OF the motorcycle is a quite possible result. Any/every time I SEE a vehicle with a low tire while riding, I tell the driver ABOUT it, especially when riding on an interstate highway...
A new car can get a flat tire on the first day you drive it home. Why in the hell would a Code Enforcement waist time and oppress someone for something so simple. The officer needs some common sense.
Correct. If the people of this municipality or county demanded it, this law would be repealed. Code enforcement of this sort is always statutory, which means the democratic process can be used to change those statutes whenever there is sufficient will of the people to do so.

I visited my parents, my dad (96yr old) visibly upset showed me a citation stating the grass was too high. It had been raining and he hadn’t cut the lawn in the week. It was four inches high. I went to all the city’s potholes, areas around freeway off-ramps, photographing weeds over growing in all areas. I went to the Code Enforcement Office, asked for the supervisor, dropped the photos of my dad’s yard on his desk. He proceeded to inform me that in fact the grass was too high. I then dropped the photos of the city’s neglected areas, I let him know my dad was very elderly and he was upset over the citation and it had rained the week and hadn’t been cut. He tore up the citation and informed the code enforcement officer to back off. I then hired a local kid to cut my parent’s lawn. My dad still wanted to cut his lawn, but acquiesced to just supervise. Those with power need to be checked…

@@ronmcmartin4513 Land of the Fee, Home of the Slave.

I stopped using my pool and turned it into a koi pond which they said was allowed since I was no longer able to enjoy me pool. Mysteriously all my koi died in hours one night with chlorine being detected in the water. I drained the water and have been pumping the rainwater out on a reasonable basis, but rarely much in the pool and not green. I have to go into a special magistrate meeting today due to $500 a day due to non-maintained pool. The code inspector is not assigned to my street, but a street over. Only one picture shows water in the pool (after a hurricane, go figure) and the water is clear. All other pictures show the pool as being empty. The pictures also show the code inspector's camera being held over the fence and into my property. At no time did I allow him on my property and refused to talk to him since he is not my code inspector, who I have spoke to previously with no issue. My most recent experience with law enforcement was them pulling their gun on me and them making a false report as to why gun was pulled...this being on camera.
I'd like to know your opinion on the situation of unlawful search as a reasonable person would not be able to see over a 6ft fence, it was known the pool was a koi pond due to stalking, non-assigned code enforcement officer on case, and no evidence of a green pool, but still charged $500 a day.

The GOVERNMENT knows that a rebellion is coming.
This is why COVID was implemented.
Both CANADIAN and AUSTRALIAN Government laboratories
had much to do with it.

The victim of this crime must be very angry that all that smelly air had escaped into the otherwise perfect community, shame on you.
LoL
Thank god this guy doesn't have a gun and a badge and is roaming the streets in a patrol car.
This is much, much worse th-cam.com/video/Bm0JSV6v-5I/w-d-xo.html

If you think this is bad check out the Charlotte County Code Enforcement Strike Force th-cam.com/video/Bm0JSV6v-5I/w-d-xo.html
We have people looting stores, shooting each other and they're chasing fines for HOAs. Ridiculousness.
That's because everywhere you go it's called a money grab.
This is why government is generally hated by the public. Always needlessly harassing people over BS.
Typical code "enforcement officer" denied from being real cop so just makes as many people as miserable as possible.
They are glorified hall monitors
I wouldn't doubt that he removed the air from the tire, then took a picture to justify his case.
You know who else was a code enforcement officer? That's right, BTK killer Dennis Rader.
@@corin164 I doubt that,... I dont agree with the undue scrutiny he applied, but I would not say he did anything but embellish and throw anything he thought could stick,...there seems to have been a past history here, but COMPLIANCE is the goal, not getting money,...if it is all about the money, and sometimes it is, that undermines the service to the public and their faith in government, but not a lack of faith in the trust that the guy would not let air out,....a clipboard warrior just likes to rack up the infractions,....some are a stretch.
Many are xcops
We have a right to a fair trial. It is none of the government's business if my car runs or not. My tires are my business and government has no right to tell me what to do on my property. I would have rubuked them.
Look at the disappointment in the “Enforcement agent” He stayed up all night practicing that speech just to be told no fine 🥲
They never showed his face after the judge announced his decision. You shouldn’t make things up.
@@rmiller334 They did. You really should only post when you are sober. 🤪🤪🤪
All who have had this happen can file civil charges against HOA enforcer ,real or fake he to prove otherwise , give them some of their own medicine!!!!!
@@toddmaywood5362 I am pretty sure this was not a HOA situation.
Incredible. Just incredible. A meeting to discuss levying a $4,500 fine for someone with a flat tire. Just incredible.
I've been in that position. At the time, I was struggling to break even. A fine like that could have ruined me.
What would that penalty have accomplished? It just forces working class people out of property ownership.
It wasn't just a flat tire for staters. If you live in an area, know the rules. Don't lie the fine because you get violated, tough sht.
welcome to government, and if people keep tolerating this crap (see "Covid enforcement") it will only get worse.
@@adotintheshark4848 The "Government" is a non living entity, look to those who run it and put the policies in place to begin with. You cant get rid of Government but you can get rid of those who operate it.
@@alexschomers1796 exactly. Corrupt officials make a corrupt government.
