@@AaricHale No we are in a micro climate. It rained two miles to the north and missed us entirely. We have had less than 3 inches of rain in two months. The corn is doing well but I do not know why.
Look at all those Vegetables! That beet though!! Tammi has a good Strawberry Rhubarb Pie Recipe too! I haven't talked her into making me one this year yet!!?? But not from the lack of effort! Lol Blessings you two.
Oh brother Johnny and Mama Goose, I want some of that there pie. Traveling down your way for a piece. Will even work for a slice. Thanks for sharing. Love and blessings to you both.
I gotta say, I sure do love them Beautiful Veggies and the Rhubarb's FINE as well, big bushy leaves and some huge stalks that are as big as Celery stalks but Rhubarb Strawberry pie....Momma Goose sure keeps you pampered Chicken Johnny! Thumbs up, thanks for sharing and mitzer shem! :)
@@chickenjohnny3308 Wow, on the several wheelbarrow loads of purslane, how much did ya make, here handfuls are sold for 15 pesos and for a family of 4 to have their daily ration you'd need 4 handfuls, that would come out to 60 pesos which would be equivalent to 3 usd, so if you sold the handful for a two dollars and deducing the wheelbarrow holds 50 handfuls, you have 100 dollars worth, you took several loads out, say 4? That's 400 dollars purslane netted ya for the "trouble" of harvesting wild purslane from your IRIE garden. ;) Then again you could have gave it to your chickens and geese, I'm pretty sure they'd love the raw purslane, which would mean a savings on chicken feed and turning purslane into organic, farm fresh eggs. :)
If my garden was as huge as yours I would have a hard time finding things as well so much stuff and you showed so little I believe.🤔🤔 wifey loves strawberry rhubarb pie I'm not really a fan but that looks delicious✌❤ happiness
Whoa that beet is giant! Your garden is amazing. When I was a kid we played in the woods. We'd eat wild beans when we'd come across them. When we were thirsty, we'd pick rhubarb to chew on or blackberries if the deer didn't already get them. It worked. Fond memories. 🤣 Beautiful berries Mother Goose. Thanks for the pie how to. #teamwillitgrow PS: The crust sounded good when you cut it. Good job waiting. 😂
@@chickenjohnny3308 Oh I know lol. I come from families of French bakers on both sides. 😂 My grandmother took her strawberry rhubarb pie recipe to her grave with her. I wish my dad could taste Mother Goose's. It looks great.
