Fantastic video, Richard!! 👏🏼 I’ve watched several videos for Obsession but I think you do the best job of teaching the game! I feel like I understand the game a lot better now! (And this was certainly the most well-dressed presentation I’ve seen!) 🎩
Thank you for your kind words my friend, they mean a lot! 😀 Happy I could help you get a better understanding of this beautiful game! Hahah, yes, I dressed for the occasion!
Just opened my copy feeling incredibly whelmed by the rule books and having major buyer's regret. Thank you for simplifying the setup and gameplay so it's easy for beginners like me to understand. I helped a lot! Also the fit looks good on you for the theme! 🏫
Comments like this make me so, so happy! This is the sole purpose of the channel: to get the games on the table! Thx for commenting, and I hope you will love the game :D
Great tutorial! One small error I noticed is that you explain at 5:37 that the un-used starter guests go back into the box. The rules (p4) say that they should be shuffled with the regular casual guests and put on the supply board (1 ⚜️).
I am curious how you get money from your guests? But I assume it basically means they have connections that allow you to borrow more money. If I remember correctly the English gentry was spending a lot more money than they earned during this era.
That's a great question, when we have friends over at our house they never give us any money! No but I guess its like you say, they loan money or in any other way support the household with money.
