    It would have been a lot better if they actually showed the place they were talking about the whole time. Instead of throwing clips of movies in there. Some of them I'm not even sure if it is a movie clip or the actual place they're talking about. Super annoying.

      Also a lot of the stuff he talks about is simply not true, take the Lake Chirik-Kel aka "blue lake". According to this guy it is unknown how deep it is, which is not true: the lake has a maximum depth of 258m

    I live in Australia and I have never seen a tarantula at a beach and when I go camping at the beach up at Kalumburu I can see and hear the dingos but they never attack us. Plus the beach’s are beautiful here in Australia so come for a holiday and get a drink of beer in chill out with your mates and cook something on the barbie👌🏿❤️🇦🇺✌🏿

      Blue 64 i didn't play fallout 3 sorry. But still the idea of A.I getting control of politics might be a bit scary. Like the movie Keanu Reeves made where he came to save earth from us. Which was to wipe us out. That's really scary. Depends who creates the A.I too might effect the robots look at humans. It's always some corrupt fuckhead effecting life.

    • @BlueNEXUSGaming
      @BlueNEXUSGaming 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Marcus Hardigan actually, that was entirely Humanity's fault, the Machines were simply defending themselves in that conflict, Humans declared open war, Humans used Nukes, humans drew first blood, Humans were their own instruments of destruction, propagating the War because they were at war, then fighting harder because they were losing.

  • @gabrielladorling9674

    Okay, I’m sorry I have to say this but I’m a bit offended. I live in Australia and yes there are dangerous creatures here, but you just need to be careful on the exact places you are heading to. I don’t think it was very nice that you said “You guessed it, absolutely everything” I mean there are some beaches that are forbidden and I get what your trying to say. Let’s not forget the fact that Australia is a beautiful place and the animals that we have is what makes Australia😊

    • @lifewhyz

    Yeah, the Toilet Bowl in Oahu Hawaii or as Hawaiians call it The Halona Blowhole: not to be confused with The Queens Bath. I went for my senior trip in 1990 and nearly died. In fact, I believe it's been officially closed down now because too many people have died. There are two main sections. The first and biggest is pretty safe if you stay in that area. Then there is a secondary or back part. There is a sort of rock cover formation. It's called the Toilet Bowl because there is a section where the water flows in and out to the ocean. I guess you could say that's the third section and one where you'd NEVER want to go. I tried looking for a video of that piece but didn't find one. There probably is somewhere, but there are a few vids of the Toilet Bowl itself, which I'll post.
    So, the second section is dangerous. We were told it was dangerous, but really didn't say how dangerous it really was. In 2015, I'll post the video, they had 426 rescues in 2015 so far and had 6 deaths in the last 12 months of when that newscast was broadcasted. Anyway, I was in the 2nd part and what happens is ocean tide flows into the TB overflowing onto the rocks beside it. Anyway, there are holes in the rock there where you can hold on and the water will briefly go over your head. Then about 2/3 of the water goes back out into the ocean. Unbeknownst to me, there was a little alcove that's beside where the water comes in. It's about 6 feet back, but it's all underwater. You can't see it. Well, I'm a VERY strong swimmer...or rather used to be at 18. Anyway the tide was strong and it can pull you from where you're holding on. A friend and I got pulled back into this alcove when the tide got pulled out to sea. We were probably in there for 5 seconds maybe a little more, but as the tide came back in, it pushed us back out to around the place we were pulled too. It was a bit scary at first, but nothing big. I was in there for about an hour straight with the water going over my head for a few seconds and got pulled into that alcove a couple times, then pushed back out. There was a 3rd time though and I got pulled back again. My friend was still in there too when I got pulled back. I was just waiting for the tide to push me back out. I felt the tide push back in, but I was still in the alcove, or so I thought. At that time, I could hold my breath for a good while, 3 minutes. Not even close to the world record, but better than most. Anway I waited for about 10 seconds and I felt the tide start pulling again, I started swimming forward pretty hard. I was wearing contacts at the time so I always kept my eyes closed. Well I went to go up for air thinking I must have cleared it and I felt rock over my head and still underwater. OK, so at this point, I'm VERY scared and I opened my eyes losing one of my contacts. All I saw was darkness. It wasn't black, but pretty dark. As you know, getting scared turns your adrenaline on, makes your heart beat faster, oh and incidently uses up more Oxygen. So, I swim as HARD and fast as I can. Look, I'm no Michael Phelps but I extremely strong at swimming. I've swam out of riptides before, I beat anyone I ever swam against. My point, I'm strong and it like I was going no where. It was like I was stuck in a bottleneck. I have no idea how long I was stuck there. It felt like 5+minutes, but it was probably 1 minute and change maybe. It felt like 5 or 10 minutes, but I know that's not right. Anyway, at that point where I tried to swim out of that twice at my hardest and felt, I burned up most of my o2 and I KNEW this was it. I'm going to die. People who've had near death experiences say your whole life flashes in front of you. I didn't have that, but rather I thought how my mom and dad would feel, I could see my funeral and there was nothing peaceful about it, but then I was still conscience for most of it anyway. There comes a point though, even though you know you're going to die, you're going to open your mouth and gasp for air and you'll just choke down water and drown. Well I prayed of course and it was still all dark and rock on top of me and I don't know if I temporarily blacked out or greyed out, but as I was about to breathe, I remember suddenly seeing sunlight only about 2 or 3 feet above me. I reached out kicking hard and took the massive deep breathe. I climbed out of there just getting my air back. I asked everyone beside me how long I was gone. They didn't even notice. I asked incredulously, how could you not notice? I was stuck where the ocean tide comes in and out. Anyway, that was one of many near death experiences I had.
    Ok, here's the video of the Toilet Bowl itself. th-cam.com/video/1Swj9sXCQuk/w-d-xo.html
    Here's the news video of it after someone died. th-cam.com/video/t7Kas82x1qQ/w-d-xo.html
    That thing has been closed and opened numerous times. The newest video I could find was from 2017 and it said they were reopening the Halona Blowhole. I don't know if it's open or closed now, but a fair piece of advice. If you just MUST go there, stay in the first part, where you see most people, even kids. I don't think Michael Phelps could have swam out of there. I didn't swim out, I got lucky and got pushed out. I wasn't turned around or anything, it got me and it was either pure luck or God saved me. I don't know. I can tell you though, you could be the strongest person on the planet and you're not going to win against "Mother Nature" unless you're a superhero. I'm not talking Batman, but a Mutant or Metahuman. Seriously though, if you find yourself in a situation like that, first of all, don't do it...at least stay in the safer part.
    I know I'm speaking on deaf ears, because when you're young, you feel like you can do anything, but U can't. That said if I could go back to the Toilet Bowl, would I? I sure would, but I wouldn't go in the 2nd section. I don't know for sure, but I imagine everyone who's died has either gotten knocked off their feet and swept into the ocean or was in the back part there and the same thing happened to them. I was just lucky!

    Hanakapiai Beach. Hawaii
    Hawaii may sound like the ideal location for a beach holiday but one area you should avoid at all costs: Hanakapiai Beach. This stretch of coast might look like an idyllic swimming spot but looks can be very deceiving. The water often seems calm and serene from afar but underneath the surface there are strong riptides and powerful currents that have claimed the lives of over 80 swimmers over the years. There is even a plaque (see photo above) that warns people to stay out of the water and has the current death toll marked up.
    Bolinas Beach. California
    While films such as Jaws and Deep Blue Sea may make you petrified to ever go swimming in the sea again, the chances of actually being attacked by a shark are incredibly thin. With that said, taking a dip at Bolinas Beach in California will significantly increase those chances. The beach is part of the ‘Red Triangle’ and is a hugely popular hunting ground for the greatest predator of all, the Great White Shark. The sharks are attracted to the area
    New Smyrna Beach, Florida
    New Smyrna is known as the shark attack capital of the world. Be careful when surfing out in the Atlantic since Florida sharks may attack humans. Common sharks in New Smyrna beach include blacktip, spinner and tiger sharks.
    West End, Grand Bahama Island
    West End has some of the most shark-infested beaches in the world. Aptly named, Tiger Beach off of Grand Bahama is one of the world’s top spots for seeing tiger sharks. Most diving expeditions guarantee an up-close sighting of these toothy creatures, which can grow to be about 16 feet long. Tiger Beach is on the bucket list of many underwater photographers and adventurers-- steer clear if you're not a pro.
    Queensland, Australia
    There’s a lot to love about Queensland. The beaches are world class, the marine life is abundant, the Great Barrier Reef and the Whitsundays are two of Mother Nature’s most impressive marvels. However, in keeping with Australia’s legendarily lethal reputation, plenty of danger lies in wait in Queensland’s waters. Beware the sharks, saltwater crocodiles, stonefish, blue-ringed octopus, and box jellyfish. A sting from the latter can cause cardiac arrest and death within minutes Australia is home to some of the most incredible marine life on the planet, but one area you may want to avoid exploring is the ocean off the coast of Queensland. These waters are not only home to sharks, salt water crocodiles and the venomous blue-ringed octopus, they are also the location of one of the deadliest creatures on the planet, the box jellyfish. Certain species of box jellyfish can have tentacles up to 10ft in length, that contain enough poison to kill a human in 2-5 minutes! Sightings of these sea monsters often cause entire beaches to be shut for days at a time in order to protect swimmers.
    Lake Victoria, Africa
    Lake Victoria is Africa’s largest lake by area, the world’s largest tropical lake, and the world’s second largest freshwater lake by surface area. Its expansive shores touch three countries - Tanzania, Uganda, and Kenya - and for centuries, it has been a vital resource for the millions who live nearby. But it’s not without its perils. According to local officials, erratic weather conditions and other unfortunate circumstances cause 5,000 deaths each year on the lake, making it one of - if not the - most dangerous places to swim on the planet.
    Amazon Basin, South America
    The Amazon basin stretches across South America, covering nearly 40 percent of the continent in the countries of Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela. A mind-boggling array of flora and fauna call the basin and the Amazon Rainforest home. A mind-boggling number of them also want to kill you. Dare to dive in the water here and you could meet your end courtesy of eels, piranhas, alligators, anacondas, or the candiru, a parasitic freshwater catfish that reportedly has a nasty habit of invading openings in the human body There are many reasons why the Amazon Basin is a dangerous place to swim. The waters are home to the anaconda, the red-bellied piranha and the electric eel, but the main reason to avoid the rivers and lakes of the Amazon Basin is down to a tiny fish called the Candiru. The small fish is part of the catfish family and is also known as the toothpick fish or vampire fish. While the Candiru may look perfectly harmless from afar, the fish is known to have a tendency for invading human bodily openings, including…. the urinal tube!
    Boiling Lake, Dominica
    The dangers of this unusual locale are clear as soon as you hear the name. Boiling Lake in Dominica’s Morne Trois Pitons National Park is a hot spring you definitely don’t want to bathe in. The water temperature ranges from 82-92 °C (180-197 °F) along the edges, and the centre is so hot that no one can get close enough to measure it. The depth of the lake is also unknown. True to its name, the grey-blue water is literally boiling, covering the surrounding area in a perpetual cloak of steam and threatening to scald anyone who would dare attempt a soak The name says it all here. Some people, however, may not take the risks into account and fall victim to the allure of the steam. The boiling is believed to be caused by heat from a magma chamber beneath the lake but the water temperature can reach a scalding 194 degrees.
    Bikini Atoll, The Marshall Islands
    Lost somewhere in the ocean, this island looks like a paradise, doesn’t it? But Bikini Atoll was actually home to numerous nuclear testing programs that turned the picturesque island of Bikini into a radioactive wasteland. The inhabitants were forced to abandon their homes, and even today this remains hazardous for living organisms: the abnormally high level of radiation recorded here can cause cancer.
    Elephant Kingdom in Chonburi, Thailand
    In Elephant Kingdom, Thailand, at a Crocodile farm, the owner leases out a small semi-closed raft space for tourists to come visit, see and FEED crocodiles! The raft is a thin wooden one balanced on plastic barrels and has net enclosure half way around it. The shack has a roof too. The people get inside the enclosure and are given fishing rods to feed the crocs. They use beef or meat pieces attached to the rods and dangle the rods before the crocodiles. The reptiles then jump out of the water to catch the meat and their food. There are tourists who also tease the crocs by dangling the meat in front of them and then pulling it up as the hungry animals reach for it.

Personally I generally only swim in actual swimming pools, but have been Scuba diving twice in supposedly 'safe' areas in Greece. Awesome! Lakes and dark water absolutely terrify me as you can't see what is lurking under the surface 😱! I know that we are invading various creatures habitats when we can't resist swimming in their homes, but oh some of those waters just look sooooooo inviting...! I believe most people think 'aw it'll never happen to me' but it does! Thankyou again...you may have saved quite a few lives with your efforts 🤗 take care and don't let the 'Salties' bite!!!

      i wish this channel would stop being so mean about australia.For say there is such people as life savers. . . and if you didnt know they save lives yeah thats right and for you information the only spiders your gonna see are daddy long legs who cant kill you because there fangs arent long enough. Sharks wont attack humans and nor will jellyfish, snakes, spiders, or crocs dont go near them if you dont want to get hurt. simple isnt it it. now cast your mind to america they have bears but thats no problem you dont just going out looking to play chasing games.

    • @nikkyjay4342
      @nikkyjay4342 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah but it's inaccurate. Sharks aren't a big threat to humans. Spiders and snakes don't just casually stroll or slither onto beaches to kill you. Dingoes are only going to kill you if they're provoked/hungry and in a pack. On their own, they might attack is provoked but honestly, leave them alone and you'll be fine. My mate recently went to Frazer and saw a dingo, just chillin near the water. Perfectly safe if you respect the animal.

    • @macro_the_acro1736
      @macro_the_acro1736 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Daddy long legs, FYI, are something completely different from spiders... they're completely different arachnids with no venom, and the spiders known as "daddy long legs" can pierce our thin skin... how do you think they inject venom into their hard exoskeletoned prey? The jellyfish are accidental envenomations by Chironex flekeri where swimmers swam into the almost invisible animal that has tentacles almost 15 feet long.

    Every time I hear about lakes filled with toxic gas at it's bottom, I always think back to BBC's "Walking With Prehistoric Beasts" episode 1, "New Dawn" where the Ambulocetus was swimming in a lake that occasionally created large bubbles at it's surface. Releasing quanities of the toxic gas that was trapped in the lake. Before one night, the toxic gas was finally released from the lake bed and escaped. Killing many in a toxic cloud within I think, 50 meters in range of the lake from all sides. It's been a part of my childhood since I was 5, since I have the entire collection of BBC's "Prehistoric Earth; A Natural History".

I also don't understand why it's considered a shame to be a virgin, it's something to be cherished, and I know I'm still pure. As I have stated before, any who try to take it away, will never experience any sexual pleasure again. If you didn't get the hint before, I refer to making that person a eunuch(If man) or barren(Female, remove the uterus and sew her private opening together).

    I've been swimming in a blue hole in Tennessee. They're cold and the scariest part is that you can't even really see your feet under you. They are really pretty though even if it is dark. A lot of people dived off a ledge near the top. This definitely isn't a place to swim if you aren't willing to go out of your comfort zone though or if the unknown or not being able to see under you scares you.

    I'm in Australia and just wanna say that every single detail you said is spot on. I have walked outside my door and INSTANTLY been swarmed by hundreds of man eating spiders and venomous land sharks who can kill a group of 45 people at once. It is a truly terrifying place chock full of murderous frogs, drop bears, hoop snakes that can roll as fast as a car. Stay out or die.

    Detroit River. Yeah, it looks normal and clam but the currents are so powerful. Once you fall into the river, It's hard to get back to surface. A few months ago, A woman died in that river. She and some friends were on a boat and thought it'd be cool to swim in the river. Then got in and was swimming but, a speedboat went pass them and waves started to pull and push them around. The girl's friends got back on the boat safely but the girl was pulled underwater by the currents. Divers had to come and diver in the river to get her body.
    Every time it rains or storms, everyone should know the currents of a body of waters will get higher. So every time it stormed, I'd always watch the river get all crazy and water splashing everywhere. It's scary to watch but was still entertaining for me.
    Thanks for reading my ted talk :)

    Ok I live in Australia and I go to Fraser every 10 weeks and I have not once seen a dingo or a crocodile but I have seen the jellyfish the spiders aren’t ever likely to be next to you chillin with you if you mess with them they will mess with you now with the currents they are not that bad but they are strong now for the dingos,don’t bother going up to a lost dog dingos can be different coloured but you should be able to tell the difference when you get in sight with one. Your welcome wait you realise some of you Americans overreact with every thing about Australia we are a great county😎😃
