I’m not convinced Sawyer is dead. Bro has a whole main body we just didn’t see in this chapter that is notably a different model than his other robots. Plus,the brain is just electrical signals so there’s no reason to think he couldn’t have backups. I’d be surprised if we don’t see him operating through his primary body in the next chapter. No way they made that whole model for the trailers alone

I feel bad for doey, the inner conflict and turmoil he must experience at every decision must have been rough, getting kids to work together under normal circumstances is hard enough at times, add in trauma and the pressure of being a leader it’s no wonder he cracked under the stress after safe haven got attacked
As a mom the Doey scene was awful, and I had a few tears for those poor babies. No spoilers from me, but the whole sequence dialogues was hard to read.
If the prototype is Elliot Ludwig, and Harley Sawyer is a digitized version of Harley, perhaps he isn't a prototype TOY, he's a prototype of a recreated human. He's the first iteration of rebuilding Elliot, but not exactly her father, and he doesn't behave like her father. Although the mysteries are falling away for clear storytelling in this series, I think that's a good thing. Not everything has to be a mystery, and if chapter 5 is the end, then it would be nice to wrap things up with answers.
I think it's more about the merger thing like how mommy's NOT afraid of death, she's afraid that "he'll make me part of him" it's likely that elliot *IS* part of the prototype, but is not the only one, everyone else is also in there, merged together, not having independent free will, but still a part of it which is also why it both is and isn't poppy's father, her father is a part of it
I'll be honest, I didn't trust Doey at first but after seeing what he's been through... I actually feel bad for him... All he wanted was to protect those closest to him, just wanted to protect his friends...his family.. he only wanted them to be safe..he didn't wanna hurt anyone..but sadly we had no choice but to... End him 😢 then there's the prototype that backstabbing, lying son of a- ... He's gonna pay for what he's put these toys through...
Same honestly. The opening art of him absorbing previous toys really threw me off and my instinct immediately was to not trust him. Turns out he was one of the most trustworthy until he snapped. R.I.P. Doey. Genuinely wish there was another way

Doey deserved so much better... He has probably the most traumatizing story in this game! From one of the three kids falling into molten clay, to waking up in this new body with two other children consciousness, then killing his mom and dad, to then having to protect all the toys from the prototype, to then seeing the safe haven explode and then dying a terrible death, I feel so bad for him. The creators of poppy playtime did an amazing job on this chapter! Also, JUSTICE FOR PIANOSAURUS
The player sounds more and more like like he is Rich after eachchapter. Caring about the enployees and orphans and just not liking the company and coming back to make right.
Yeah, Rich is the only character we know of that makes sense to be the Player. He cared about the orphans, worked in multiple parts of the factory so characters like Mommy Long Legs and Miss Delight would recognise him, but he didn't work in the Labs or would be "important" enough that Dr. Sawyer would know or recognise him. There has to be a reason the player was sent for in the first place, and it may have been because Rich was the only one willing to stand up for the kids all those years and now they need him to do it again and help them. Why else include him in every chapter and highlight the player's guilt? He's the only one that fits and has been there since the start.
With Doey introducing the fact that multiple people can be a part of one experiment, that opens the idea that the Prototype could also be multiple people, or at least parts of them. A lot of people are torn between Elliot Ludwig or Rich being the Prototype, but what if both are right? It’s just a speculation, but with a new possibility to his identity being presented it’s worth considering.
If you look at the tape with Jackie in the pit of dough you’ll notice something very interesting that Jackie is pushed into it rather fall into it because if you look at the separation and the height of the bars, nobody would be crazy enough to jump in there
I think the player is the employee who was talking with Rich Avery in tape #11, the 'Kid". He was a low level employee who was infamous enough due to his attitude for some people to recognize him, probably contemplating feeding him to Boxyboo. Plus Avery did sound to be a bit of a mentor to him, who might have reassigned the player here and there to keep him out of trouble, explaining why he knows so much about the factory.
14:54 this is kinda mitigated by what Poppy says in Chapter 3. She says that if we try to make for the exit, the Prototype will find us and kill us before we could even step foot in the lobby. The only way out is, literally and metaphorically, *through* him.
What do you think is the over/under on the Prototype being Ludwig? The Poppy tape where she says she wishes she could talk to her dad again feels like a set up to me, and the Prototype's insistence that she needs to "come home" feels too specific of wording to just be referring to the factory. If he wanted to imply she belonged down there, he could have said just that, "come back to where you belong" or something. Maybe the company tried to preserve his brain in the same way they did for Sawyer for the same reason, to try and access his knowledge without being beholden to him, because his perfect Poppy is still something the company hasn't been able to properly replicate with the BBI. Plus, we know that Experiment 814 was still on animal subjects, so 1006 can't have been too far into the usage of human subjects.
I can think of three options and I think I understand a thematic implication of each option. I do agree that the Prototype is preforming experiments to try and be a human again and that the orphans will not be around anymore because of that. The idea Poppy had about saving the orphans and them being asleep is a lie made up when acting as Ollie. One is that an executive or executives killed Elliot to take his position and make sure he isn't a liability, tying Elliot's story with the theme of how corporate corruption stifles good intentions. Another is that Elliot is the prototype and lost his memory but not his mind, tying his story with the theme that science can dehumanize and degrade people. The last option is that Elliot simply went insane from decades of being the prototype and is obsessed with Poppy because as his daughter she's the only one he has left, cementing his role as an antagonist because every major antagonist in this story is associated with authority figures in some way. I will also mention that the effects of abuse are a theme of this game, and so it only makes sense a motif is that most of the major antagonists are abusers
Hear me out: I believe that the player is a humanoid robot/cyborg designed by the company. I believe that someone in the factory solved the problem they were looking for, and that is the player. Think about it. We keep coming back to life, we get odd messages, and we can't talk or and apparently have no fear to move forward. Also, we fell from a very, very high fall onto some rocks, which should have killed us. In conclusion, the player is a product of the company somehow that has been modified [the perfect employee that works, not needing to eat. However, the flaw is that the gas affects them. But I think the gas affects the toy too. What yall think?
Deaths are considered not canon, we never actually die 😅 And as for the fall apparently the grab pack works like a jetpack to decelerate during a fall so you don’t get as hurt

There are two employees we have yet to find: Rich from the Chapter 2 tapes, and P.W. from the handbook. Smart money is one is the player and the other is the Prototype.
I gotta say, Michael Kovach who played Doey the Doughman really gave it his all in the performance, especially during Mutated Doey. You can hear the emotions going through his mind. At the end was really tragic seeing him accept his fate and die, or maybe. Him saying sorry at the end was heartbreaking, too.
My theory is that our player character was one of the doctors who tested the kids in the gamestation. Mommy IMMEDIATELY recognized us and she basically ran that area so I'm assuming she put us through the games to give us a taste of our own medicine.

Ngl I’m incredibly intrigued by how dark chapter five is going to be especially since this chapter was easily one of the most dark chapters in the game so far and hell the darkest mascot horror game ever but then again chapter four ended with the protagonist entering the laboratories where both the living toys and human experimentation was being created so realistically chapter five can overtake chapter four especially if Mob are ready to fully show the actual transition of a normal person being killed by the Playtime Co. scientists and being turned into a little toy or one of the bigger bodies
Surprising lack of Rich is the protag talk in this video. I feel like he's the perfect candidate for being the player due to the fact he's in a position of some sort of power in chapter 4 as seen in the tape where he talks with an employee named kid, cares a lot about the orphans which is seen all the way back in his chapter 1 tape and also because he's been in every chapter. I will die on this hill and no one will change my mind.
Well consider that Mommy Long legs worked in the game station, but Dr Sawyer worked in the labs. So if we never worked at the lower levels we wouldn't meet

maybe we ARE the warden. if you think about it humans change over the years so maybe his looks on his face dramtically changed making the doctor not recognise us. for example, maybe we were a bit young like 25 and grew more facial hair and more when we came back. Since i think chapter 5 is the last i feel like we would be met with elevators that take you to the floors of: chapter 4, 3, 2 and 1 and then we would escape and then poppy playtime is exposed.
My theory about the prototype is that Elliot along with several others were merged together to create it. That’s why Ollie was so nice to us at first, because Elliot got control over the other people inside and genuinely tried to right his wrongs, however, it could be that the others inside could have been more powerful and pushed Ollie to the side in favor of regaining Poppy. Another reason why I think this could be plausible is due to the fact that the prototype said it was named Ollie once, and the Ollie could be a nickname (or anagram) for Elliot.
Almost seems like our dough man is actually 3 kids. In the note you find, I believe it's experiment 3122(?), the note specifies that there is a 3122A-C. That's 3. At the end of the game when doughy gets mad, 3 heads/sets of arms appear in his mouth. Again, when doughy is talking, he splits between crying over his friends, yelling at you/being angry and tries to be rational with saying we aren't at fault. All we did was reset the generator. 3 different emotions. Even during gameplay. Doughy is in 3s. 1 where he is willing to smash and eat other toys. Being just as monstrous as the rest. 2 always cracking a joke and giggling. 3 being the leader and almost father figure to the safe haven toys. Theory: Doughy is 3 kids.
I got the feeling that everything the protype does is a revenge and to end everything in playtime Both at Playtime for creating so many mascots but also cause he feels the mascots are wrong and should not exist. It was starting to feel that the reason the prototype have not allowed anyone to escape is not cause they don’t belong out there, but cause he wants to end them all his way And only have Poppy and him alive, as Poppy truly seems to be the best created toy of them all
Fnaf the mimic game should take notes, like not full blown gore house horror but like imply or show us some deaths. If the mimic is violent as the books tell us.
If the Final Chapter is not Called Playtime is Over I will cry. I Speculated that Huggy was Alive sicme we never saw the Prototype collect his Body, I’m actually glad he’s alive. Things I think. 1. I think our Player Character could potentially be a Test Subject themselves made specifically to deal with any toy that Rebels (explaining why we’ve managed to prevail through each Chapter). 2. I think because Huggy appears at the end of the Chapter when Chapter 5 Comes out we might be able to Convince Huggy to not kill us (it also seems that The Player Character and Huggy have some sort of Connection). 3. I think the Prototype just like Doey is a Collective Conscious of Multiple People but the Main Consciousness is Elliot Ludwig. 4. I think it’s possible that the former Executives of Playtime Co are all toys we’ll deal with in the Final Chapter. 5. I think Poppy will be the one to kill the Prototype instead of us.

I feel like the player had a favorite orphan and really wants to save that one or had an employee who was their friend. I feel like Huggy, CatNap, and maybe DogDay are gonna come back. We know that the Prototype took the first three antagonists, and we already saw Huggy, which a lot of people were expecting. I have a feeling we're seeing CatNap again, but not Mommy because she was split in half, and you can't get more dead than that. Either way, I'm really excited to see Chapter 5!
I have a good theory… (not entirely sure lol) see how Eliot was the main guy running the factory well my theory is he used himself as the “prototype” to the experiments to prove that they work on humans and turned himself into the prototype! Or maybe he was forced into it in some way! We don’t really know for sure!
Also a little bit to add on here another part to my theory is that the whole reason he used himself as the prototype for the experiments is so that they had physical evidence of the experiments working so that they would continue getting closer and closer to making it that he can bring his kid (poppy) back to life! That’s also the reason he is continuing to do stuff as the prototype so he can bring her back to life! As a human and not a toy!

I like the big twist that there are no orphans and that poppy, the prototype, and the player all go down. But my question is to you rye, who do you think the player is? There are alot of clues on it and I think there are enough breadcrumbs to get something solid
I feel like the fight against the prototype or Huggy will somehow get us back up to the top is some way and the plot twist will be in one of the rooms we were not able to get to in chapter 1 and we get out and see the factory fall
I like the idea of going down with the factory, but I just can't pass up on a factory escape sequence. We've been going down this whole time, going UP would bring everything around!
My personal ending is that the player and poppy survive and the prototype after the ending fight in its dying breath asks us the player if playtime is still around and if it is to bring to down or something similar I also believe that the reason for the player returning to the factory is that they want answers or the had they had felt guilty about what ever their job was

i have a feeling that leith and elliot are somehow connected to the prototype. also i think it would be funny if this series ends with us walking away from the exploding factory like a bada$$ and that’s the only time we see the player’s face.
The warden theory is possible however it is important to note during Chapter 3’s nightmare scene while listening to the radio playing backwards, it shows that while the player had actually not even appeared during the hour of Joy. I do think they are very much feeling guilty about following through which could be the main motivation.
I do think this chapter is good, it just does feel a bit worse than chapter three. Its really close, I just think chapter 3 was better. I do think it started improving after we made it to the safe haven for the first time.
Ik that at some point the mentioned this or someone already said this but, i bet that the red smoke contains a lot of Poppy flowers. Which makes sense since Poppy flowers do give off drug like effects if inhailed for a long time or a lot.

I would say that rather than being a full body spider, the Prototype would have a kind of centaur type body going on. Spider centaur. Many hands and legs, many eyes, many voices. It feels fitting.
I think The Prototype is Ludwig but twisted after the transformation so he isn't the father Poppy wants but The Prototype now. Also,I really liked the chapter but didn't really like what they did to Sawyer. I mean, he feels just brushed off, and it makes me kind of dissapointed when I think about it.

When Poppy Playtime first started I thought it was just a lame cashgrab attempt at the new genre, but I’m enjoying it more than fnaf and the developers deserve every bit of praise for their efforts with this series!

Prediction: The Prototype is going to have added Kissy’s left arm and Huggy’s right arm to his body when we see him. Kissy loses her left arm in the explosion. Huggy is missing his right arm when he attacks the door at the end of chapter 4. But, would they be useful to the Prototype? Kissy gained dexterity in her arms in the end and Huggy always seemed to have “good” control of his, when he chased us in chapter 1. They may be too floppy to be of use to the Prototype, but it’d be cool! Or he has more than one pair of hands. Then he could have a piece of all the Bigger Bodies. Mommy’s arm/hand or torso. Cat Nap’s red gas spray setup? And/or the green hand from his corpse? I wonder what piece of Boxy Boo he’s going to take? Or has taken. Something the others don’t have... Maybe his springs?
I think we play as Bron/Thomas Clark. •Our body is incredibly short and we survive falls really well. •Everyone refers to us as crawling through the factory. •Sawyer is the apex of evolution (in a transhumanism sense) and a dinosaur is a perfect foil. (Also, also also, “Brontosaurus” is a scientific misnomer for putting the wrong head on the wrong body) •we DID slip through the cracks, as Bron is the only toy we are aware of that was removed from the facility for its safety. •The only perspective we get of a toy is Bron, and it syncs perfectly with what we see in game. •Bron was proof of concept to what would be Sawyer, later. •The Toys recognized us, from Kissy to Mommy Long Legs, but not Sawyer. He would see a man dying of cancer as weak and forgettable. •The game goes out of its way to make sure we can’t see our body. I plan on doing a full dive into the philosophy of Poppy Playtime on my channel this weekend; this chapter is full of transhumance, utilitarianism, ethics of science and even Freudian Seduction theory * Rye’s TicToc womp * (Chat, stop it! Calm down!). Super fascinating with a lot of talk about why we do or don’t do the things we do.

And it perfectly explains why the player acts the way they do, from the short jumps, never talking and ‘loss of cognitive function’ explains why we don’t know our way around the factory. You give a Dino a grab pack, and suddenly he becomes the scariest dinosaur. AND he knows what the toy-ification process is like first hand. He’s perfect - too perfect to lose.
i do like the twist at the very end of the chapter where we mistake huggy in the red smoke for kissy, mirroring the one in chapter 2 where we mistake kissy's silouette for huggy

The player sounds more and more like like he is Rich after eachchapter. Caring about the enployees and orphans and just not liking the company and coming back to make right.
Yeah, Rich is the only character we know of that makes sense to be the Player. He cared about the orphans, worked in multiple parts of the factory so characters like Mommy Long Legs and Miss Delight would recognise him, but he didn't work in the Labs or would be "important" enough that Dr. Sawyer would know or recognise him. There has to be a reason the player was sent for in the first place, and it may have been because Rich was the only one willing to stand up for the kids all those years and now they need him to do it again and help them. Why else include him in every chapter and highlight the player's guilt? He's the only one that fits and has been there since the start.

With Doey introducing the fact that multiple people can be a part of one experiment, that opens the idea that the Prototype could also be multiple people, or at least parts of them. A lot of people are torn between Elliot Ludwig or Rich being the Prototype, but what if both are right? It’s just a speculation, but with a new possibility to his identity being presented it’s worth considering.

If you look at the tape with Jackie in the pit of dough you’ll notice something very interesting that Jackie is pushed into it rather fall into it because if you look at the separation and the height of the bars, nobody would be crazy enough to jump in there
I think the player is the employee who was talking with Rich Avery in tape #11, the 'Kid". He was a low level employee who was infamous enough due to his attitude for some people to recognize him, probably contemplating feeding him to Boxyboo. Plus Avery did sound to be a bit of a mentor to him, who might have reassigned the player here and there to keep him out of trouble, explaining why he knows so much about the factory.

I was legitimately so excited for Pianosaurus and then I watch someone stream and “That’s it?!?!”
What do you think is the over/under on the Prototype being Ludwig? The Poppy tape where she says she wishes she could talk to her dad again feels like a set up to me, and the Prototype's insistence that she needs to "come home" feels too specific of wording to just be referring to the factory. If he wanted to imply she belonged down there, he could have said just that, "come back to where you belong" or something.
Maybe the company tried to preserve his brain in the same way they did for Sawyer for the same reason, to try and access his knowledge without being beholden to him, because his perfect Poppy is still something the company hasn't been able to properly replicate with the BBI. Plus, we know that Experiment 814 was still on animal subjects, so 1006 can't have been too far into the usage of human subjects.
I think it's more likely than not, but I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out he isn't
I can think of three options and I think I understand a thematic implication of each option. I do agree that the Prototype is preforming experiments to try and be a human again and that the orphans will not be around anymore because of that. The idea Poppy had about saving the orphans and them being asleep is a lie made up when acting as Ollie.
One is that an executive or executives killed Elliot to take his position and make sure he isn't a liability, tying Elliot's story with the theme of how corporate corruption stifles good intentions. Another is that Elliot is the prototype and lost his memory but not his mind, tying his story with the theme that science can dehumanize and degrade people.
The last option is that Elliot simply went insane from decades of being the prototype and is obsessed with Poppy because as his daughter she's the only one he has left, cementing his role as an antagonist because every major antagonist in this story is associated with authority figures in some way. I will also mention that the effects of abuse are a theme of this game, and so it only makes sense a motif is that most of the major antagonists are abusers
Hear me out: I believe that the player is a humanoid robot/cyborg designed by the company. I believe that someone in the factory solved the problem they were looking for, and that is the player. Think about it. We keep coming back to life, we get odd messages, and we can't talk or and apparently have no fear to move forward. Also, we fell from a very, very high fall onto some rocks, which should have killed us. In conclusion, the player is a product of the company somehow that has been modified [the perfect employee that works, not needing to eat. However, the flaw is that the gas affects them. But I think the gas affects the toy too. What yall think?
Deaths are considered not canon, we never actually die 😅 And as for the fall apparently the grab pack works like a jetpack to decelerate during a fall so you don’t get as hurt

I gotta say, Michael Kovach who played Doey the Doughman really gave it his all in the performance, especially during Mutated Doey. You can hear the emotions going through his mind. At the end was really tragic seeing him accept his fate and die, or maybe. Him saying sorry at the end was heartbreaking, too.
My theory is that our player character was one of the doctors who tested the kids in the gamestation. Mommy IMMEDIATELY recognized us and she basically ran that area so I'm assuming she put us through the games to give us a taste of our own medicine.

Ngl I’m incredibly intrigued by how dark chapter five is going to be especially since this chapter was easily one of the most dark chapters in the game so far and hell the darkest mascot horror game ever but then again chapter four ended with the protagonist entering the laboratories where both the living toys and human experimentation was being created so realistically chapter five can overtake chapter four especially if Mob are ready to fully show the actual transition of a normal person being killed by the Playtime Co. scientists and being turned into a little toy or one of the bigger bodies
The way I see it, the prototype is her father but poppy no longer sees him as Eliot but rather something else.
Surprising lack of Rich is the protag talk in this video. I feel like he's the perfect candidate for being the player due to the fact he's in a position of some sort of power in chapter 4 as seen in the tape where he talks with an employee named kid, cares a lot about the orphans which is seen all the way back in his chapter 1 tape and also because he's been in every chapter. I will die on this hill and no one will change my mind.
I also dont think there are any orphans down in the lab. Poppy probably got information about them from Ollie, who we know is just the prototype

maybe we ARE the warden. if you think about it humans change over the years so maybe his looks on his face dramtically changed making the doctor not recognise us. for example, maybe we were a bit young like 25 and grew more facial hair and more when we came back. Since i think chapter 5 is the last i feel like we would be met with elevators that take you to the floors of: chapter 4, 3, 2 and 1 and then we would escape and then poppy playtime is exposed.

My theory about the prototype is that Elliot along with several others were merged together to create it. That’s why Ollie was so nice to us at first, because Elliot got control over the other people inside and genuinely tried to right his wrongs, however, it could be that the others inside could have been more powerful and pushed Ollie to the side in favor of regaining Poppy. Another reason why I think this could be plausible is due to the fact that the prototype said it was named Ollie once, and the Ollie could be a nickname (or anagram) for Elliot.
Almost seems like our dough man is actually 3 kids. In the note you find, I believe it's experiment 3122(?), the note specifies that there is a 3122A-C. That's 3. At the end of the game when doughy gets mad, 3 heads/sets of arms appear in his mouth. Again, when doughy is talking, he splits between crying over his friends, yelling at you/being angry and tries to be rational with saying we aren't at fault. All we did was reset the generator. 3 different emotions. Even during gameplay. Doughy is in 3s. 1 where he is willing to smash and eat other toys. Being just as monstrous as the rest. 2 always cracking a joke and giggling. 3 being the leader and almost father figure to the safe haven toys.
Theory:
Doughy is 3 kids.
I got the feeling that everything the protype does is a revenge and to end everything in playtime

It was starting to feel that the reason the prototype have not allowed anyone to escape is not cause they don’t belong out there, but cause he wants to end them all his way
And only have Poppy and him alive, as Poppy truly seems to be the best created toy of them all
Fnaf the mimic game should take notes, like not full blown gore house horror but like imply or show us some deaths. If the mimic is violent as the books tell us.

I Speculated that Huggy was Alive sicme we never saw the Prototype collect his Body, I’m actually glad he’s alive.
Things I think.
1. I think our Player Character could potentially be a Test Subject themselves made specifically to deal with any toy that Rebels (explaining why we’ve managed to prevail through each Chapter).
2. I think because Huggy appears at the end of the Chapter when Chapter 5 Comes out we might be able to Convince Huggy to not kill us (it also seems that The Player Character and Huggy have some sort of Connection).
3. I think the Prototype just like Doey is a Collective Conscious of Multiple People but the Main Consciousness is Elliot Ludwig.
4. I think it’s possible that the former Executives of Playtime Co are all toys we’ll deal with in the Final Chapter.
5. I think Poppy will be the one to kill the Prototype instead of us.

I feel like the player had a favorite orphan and really wants to save that one or had an employee who was their friend. I feel like Huggy, CatNap, and maybe DogDay are gonna come back. We know that the Prototype took the first three antagonists, and we already saw Huggy, which a lot of people were expecting. I have a feeling we're seeing CatNap again, but not Mommy because she was split in half, and you can't get more dead than that. Either way, I'm really excited to see Chapter 5!

I have a good theory… (not entirely sure lol) see how Eliot was the main guy running the factory well my theory is he used himself as the “prototype” to the experiments to prove that they work on humans and turned himself into the prototype! Or maybe he was forced into it in some way! We don’t really know for sure!
Also a little bit to add on here another part to my theory is that the whole reason he used himself as the prototype for the experiments is so that they had physical evidence of the experiments working so that they would continue getting closer and closer to making it that he can bring his kid (poppy) back to life! That’s also the reason he is continuing to do stuff as the prototype so he can bring her back to life! As a human and not a toy!

I’ll put myself up for be experimented on for the bigger body’s project! If it’s a success you guys will help continuing the experiments!” Or something like that

I like the idea of going down with the factory, but I just can't pass up on a factory escape sequence. We've been going down this whole time, going UP would bring everything around!
My personal ending is that the player and poppy survive and the prototype after the ending fight in its dying breath asks us the player if playtime is still around and if it is to bring to down or something similar I also believe that the reason for the player returning to the factory is that they want answers or the had they had felt guilty about what ever their job was

i have a feeling that leith and elliot are somehow connected to the prototype. also i think it would be funny if this series ends with us walking away from the exploding factory like a bada$$ and that’s the only time we see the player’s face.
The warden theory is possible however it is important to note during Chapter 3’s nightmare scene while listening to the radio playing backwards, it shows that while the player had actually not even appeared during the hour of Joy.
I do think they are very much feeling guilty about following through which could be the main motivation.
I do think this chapter is good, it just does feel a bit worse than chapter three. Its really close, I just think chapter 3 was better. I do think it started improving after we made it to the safe haven for the first time.
That's fair, I don't know which is my favorite exactly, but it's definitely maintaining the level of quality at least

I would say that rather than being a full body spider, the Prototype would have a kind of centaur type body going on. Spider centaur. Many hands and legs, many eyes, many voices. It feels fitting.
I think The Prototype is Ludwig but twisted after the transformation so he isn't the father Poppy wants but The Prototype now.
Also,I really liked the chapter but didn't really like what they did to Sawyer. I mean, he feels just brushed off, and it makes me kind of dissapointed when I think about it.

I love a game that answers questions and has a clear narrative and sympathetic characters! meanwhile there’s fnaf. When Poppy Playtime first started I thought it was just a lame cashgrab attempt at the new genre, but I’m enjoying it more than fnaf and the developers deserve every bit of praise for their efforts with this series!

Prediction: The Prototype is going to have added Kissy’s left arm and Huggy’s right arm to his body when we see him. Kissy loses her left arm in the explosion. Huggy is missing his right arm when he attacks the door at the end of chapter 4. But, would they be useful to the Prototype? Kissy gained dexterity in her arms in the end and Huggy always seemed to have “good” control of his, when he chased us in chapter 1. They may be too floppy to be of use to the Prototype, but it’d be cool! Or he has more than one pair of hands. Then he could have a piece of all the Bigger Bodies. Mommy’s arm/hand or torso. Cat Nap’s red gas spray setup? And/or the green hand from his corpse? I wonder what piece of Boxy Boo he’s going to take? Or has taken. Something the others don’t have... Maybe his springs?
I think we play as Bron/Thomas Clark.
•Our body is incredibly short and we survive falls really well.
•Everyone refers to us as crawling through the factory.
•Sawyer is the apex of evolution (in a transhumanism sense) and a dinosaur is a perfect foil. (Also, also also, “Brontosaurus” is a scientific misnomer for putting the wrong head on the wrong body)
•we DID slip through the cracks, as Bron is the only toy we are aware of that was removed from the facility for its safety.
•The only perspective we get of a toy is Bron, and it syncs perfectly with what we see in game.
•Bron was proof of concept to what would be Sawyer, later.
•The Toys recognized us, from Kissy to Mommy Long Legs, but not Sawyer. He would see a man dying of cancer as weak and forgettable.
•The game goes out of its way to make sure we can’t see our body.

I kinda wish the Doctor was the final boss and not Doey. I loved what they did with Doey and understand why they did what they did for the story, but I find the Doctor to be a wayyyy cooler villain 😅
