Posting this here for those who don't check the description. This is more of a serious video. I don't post this for views, I post this to pay respects to a person who made my favorite game memorable. Need For Speed Carbon is one of my favorite racing games out there. One of the aspects that made the game so fun was definitely the Wingman system. And of the wingmen we have to choose from, Neville (played by Chris Gauthier) was one of them. The one who was there from the beginning to the end. Hilarious in nature, funny punchlines, and came in clutch when he needed to. Not to mention he was of the Blocker type, which meant he wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty. Join me and Neville for a few races across the city tonight. Rest well Chris, and Thank you.
I really relived many nights with this minutes long video. NFS Carbon is my favorite racing game of all time. Thank you for this. We love you Neville, thank you for everything brother ❤
Neville was literally my favorite character in the game and I even idolized him and was inspired by him when it came to my own life. May Chris Gauthier rest. He was our hero. ❤️
I've got to be honest, I used him as my wingman throughout the whole game, the best blocker wingman. Sad to hear that the person that play as my favorite wingman has passed away RIP.
I love driving with his theme irl at night, and when I was a kid I used to like, immerse myself into the game to the point where I used to answer to his in-game lines. Rest in peace man ❤
It made me like the city more, and it’s the reason I always get excited whenever I go to Los Angeles and Las Vegas. That’s the power of the game and seriously, Neville was amazing. He will live on in our hearts. ❤️
i love how sassy all the crewmates are in Carbon when the cops find out what car you're driving and its not the same class as what your crewmate is driving
"I got your back!" Back then I didn't knew what it truly meant, but now that I do. I can confidentially say... that he truly did. Still one of the best nfs games I ever played. The only I ever played.
I didn't know he passed away. He was my favorite crew member. I played with him active thru the whole story. From the first to the last race. Even my last time I played the game I only used Neville not only because he was great in the races but also because I liked his personality in the few cutscenes and little comments he makes in the races. All I want to say now is R. I. P. Chris Gauthier. We all will miss you but we will never forget you. I hope you rest in peace.

I will never forget the reason I’m a diehard alfa romeo lover is cause of chris, seeing him whip that beautiful widebody brera marked a piece of history for me till this day and if I could I’d buy a brera today
There needs to be a full gameplay video where only Neville can win, and avoid any event where Neville can't be used (unless it's impossible in a turf where for example there is is a drift and canyon race) boss races allowed. Also would be fun if the player uses the same car as Neville.
You should record the whole game while choosing Neville as your wingman until the ending. That would be a night to remember for him, and also a huge tribute to his family and friends. It's sad that he died so young because of cardiac arrest. RIP Chris, and thank you.
This man probably had no idea of just how big of an impression he left in our childhoods. I played NFS Carbon for YEARS, little me was absolutely obsessed with this game, and his Neville character was hands down the most memorable out of the whole cast. Even more than the bosses. I picked him as a wingman almost every time, never got tired of his quirky one liners and always felt like the game would feel hollow without his much needed comic relief. Rest in peace.

Just a few weeks ago I started playing throught Underground 2, then MW and Carbon (finished Carbon maybe over 16 times), just to find out (recommandations) that Neville is gone. RIP my friend! You was the best crew member in Carbon! Raced with you all the time, till the end.

This is nuts to me. Just 2 weeks ago, I bought a new memory card and 2 new controllers for my gamecube. I just 100% Carbon for the 2nd time in my life (lost original memory card from childhood) And I’ve been playing Carbon exclusively for the passed 2 weeks. What the fuck man :/
