- This was part of the 6th Jazzing Festival in Sant Andreu, Barcelona, Spain in September 2019.
The Sunday lunchtime Lindy Hop Dance, featuring the Sant Andreu Jazz Band led by Joan Chamorro, with "As Long As I Live."
On vocals Alba Esteban, with trumpet solos by Victor Carrascosa and Joan Mar Sauque.
It was filmed on my phone so the sound quality could be better. Everyone was having a great time so the background noise can be heard!

Lo mejor es el baile que se marca Andrea Motis con el chico de la perilla (no le conozco, no es de la SAJB, creo), como unos auténticos bailarines profesionales. Andrea demuestra que es una artista completa, que tan pronto canta como toca la trompeta, el saxofón o baila como en este video. Una gran show-woman.

It is! She was having fun and relaxing, and danced the whole time - at least a couple of hours!!
Andrea is like that, as brilliant as spontaneous ... 😉
Regarding Alba Esteban singing, I've listened to her many times and she has never convinced me. She has style, yes, I even think it's not a voice problem. Rather, I think it's her shyness that prevents her from feeling comfortable singing, she's always tense, forced, as if she didn't enjoy it. On the contrary, when she has the sax in her hands, she looks absolutely happy. It is a case similar to Elsa Armengou, who sang a couple of times in public when was a little girl, and Chamorro quickly verified that she never going to make a career out of it.

I think I've managed to identify almost all the guys in the orchestra (and it wasn't easy, really 😉 ), I'm only missing the drummer, because i can't see him for a moment in the whole video. According to the date it could be Pablo Ruiz or maybe Abril Saurí, but I don't know. The rest, unless I'm mistaken, are the following:

Hi! I know that Abril was not at the Jazzing and Pablo was so it could have been him. There are several of my videos of the Lindy Hop Dance on here so we may see him on them, but they have a habit of changing the musicians between numbers. Somewhere I have the programme so will check to see if there were other drummers and let you know.
Plus the Lindy Hopper Andrea Motis in front of the stage of course.....
@@paulmasonsjazz9611 Thank you very much, Paul, but it's not necessary either, it´s are just "obsessions" of a fanatic fan ... And knowing that Pablo was there and Abril wasn't, it's obvious that he was the drummer, there was no other drummer in the band that year.
