My goodness, he has way better moves than Wiseman.. and this guy went as low as 52 in the draft. The way he plays is not very prone to injuries. I love this pick.
Yeah wiseman was drafted for his potential. Which clearly has not translated as expected. This new warriors bigman looks promising at being NBA ready stand point
Yup warriors fan sure did i like both the players we got!! This guy can pass shoot and semi protect the rim. But a stretch big with TJD and who can pass out of mid post to cutters. The other kid is a flat out shooter with sneaky athleticism!! Let’s run the youngsters all season including quinones and santos and i think we can surprise some people
As a fellow Dutchie, I was so sad when I saw that OKC traded this guy away ;( Hope he can make it work though. He looks quite promising for an undrafted player.
Post has the skillset that the Warriors need in their system. He reminds me of Andrew Bogut, a big who can shoot the three, has a decent inside game and a terrific interior defender. It's puzzling how he ended up in the second round. DJ Burns is another player who has outstanding basketball street smarts but went undrafted. I hope these two players get a chance to show what they can do in the NBA.
Wow great analysis. I appreciate hearing both pros and cons, including clips of bad plays. As a warriors fan, we can definitely use a player like him in the big man rotation. I see him as a replacement to Saric, who is way more skilled but often unplayable against real bigs. As long as Post is capable of not getting embarrassed by quality centers, and can consistently hit his 3’s, he should have a spot on the Dubs roster. It’s a shame he won’t get coached by Deke.
Saric main issue isn’t even him vs bigs it’s just how slow and unathletic he is he’s a huge liability on defense and his 3pter didn’t fall the second half of the season so he was literally useless in all situations not even vs bigs, he was actually worse against guards cause usually he’d have to defend the shooting guard or power forward when they switched
I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times. - Bruce Lee. Forget his left hand weakness. Master that right hand and nobody will stop it just as Dirk Nowitski mastered the one-legged fadeaway and was unstoppable!
Not many 7-Footers in the WORLD can shoot it like this guy. That's a very uncommon skillset for a legit 7-footer. I genuinely think he'll be drafted, and will carve out a role in the league. He's a pretty decent passer too. If he can emulate a guy like Mike Muscala.... he'll have a long and productive career in the NBA.
i’m so excited for the 2024-2025 season 🔥 our youngins and buzzin 🔥🔥🔥 we had both 2-way players in Kuminga & Moody a rebounding monster guard/ Mr. In-CHARGE in Podz a lob threat in TJD a sharp shooter SF in Lindy Waters III a defensive specialist in Reece Beekman and at last, a true big man/stretch big man in Quinten Post 💪🏼 im fired up 💪🏼🔥
I’m getting Ivica Zubac vibes from this guy, holy shit! I don’t think he’ll ever be a star, but in his prime he might be one of the best role-player bigs in the league!
I think this is a great pick. Perfect fit for the Warriors. Once Draymond retires, Post at the 5 and TJD at the 4 is gonna be fun to watch. Let’s see if the Warriors are disciplined enough to stick with a 7 footer. I love that the Warriors are selecting older, more experienced players.
Bro, saw other video of him. U analysis towards him is wrong. The dude is a 5yrs college player, a 24yrs old big and NBA ready dude. Steve gonna do well with the kids
He’s slow, but I think if he’s disciplined and gets NBA stamina and gets stronger to post up he will be a good asset to set screens for curry. Hopefully they keep him for the future Warriors he could be like another Bogut.
Warriors starting lineup: Curry, Kuminga, Post, Wiggins, Melton. Yes, Draymond needs to come off the bench. Trayce and Post can play together at times, but I want to see Post start so we can see what he can do before deciding if Trayce should be the starter. Moody and Podz will get lots of playing time off the bench. Slow mo can clap on the bench.
Kerr cant develop bigs like Wiseman who are athletic and bad at shooting. Post is more of role player and not " give me the ball" guy. Like Post is a system player where Wiseman was iso scorer
Any Warriors fans looking at who we got
We here
Dubnation
Me i'm here😢😂
Yup 👍
traded to okc for lindy waters
Welcome to the Warriors.
He has one of the nicest releases I've seen from a big, real clean follow through and footwork.
Shooting arc and form from three is like from a short guard, the defender needs a lot better timing and vertical to block that.
My goodness, he has way better moves than Wiseman.. and this guy went as low as 52 in the draft. The way he plays is not very prone to injuries. I love this pick.

Big warriors fan here, but our new guy Post injured as we speak lol. Leg injury prayers up 🙏🏾
You can’t evaluate , heart and tenacity . Neither I feel wiseman had
he is gonna work so well with Draymond and TJD..

Once again, this channel does an awesome job highlighting the underrated prospects
😊
😊😊
Seeing him make great decisions while running similar actions the Warriors run...no wonder MDJ made the call 😀
He reminds me of a taller nemanja bjelica.
We got Post in post
A real post indeed
As a fellow Dutchie, I was so sad when I saw that OKC traded this guy away ;( Hope he can make it work though. He looks quite promising for an undrafted player.
Reminds me of a bigger Saric
better than saric cone defense
The offense fits GSW so well.
Thanks for the analysis, glad my Warriors picked him up at #52
Thanks for watching, your support means a ton

Bogut couldn't shoot 3 though...
His jumper is very pretty, so happy the warriors drafted him!
Coach Kerr will have a lot to work with and he will complement the Warriors system well. Just what they needed.
I really like Quinten post, I think he could be one of the best Undrafted players in this class
Feels like a 2nd round pick. Everyone is big on shooting big men esp after this post season with Wemby, KAT, Tingus, and Chet
Drafted
he just got drafted. hope Kerr would play him.
Welcome to Dubnation
Lauri-light.. but plays bigger. Interesting.

Dirk is literally his idol. He grew up with Dirk. He’ll do the Warriors proud!!

You are a warriors
Struggles on pick n roll? Ohh man is he in good hands with Warriors.
I literally see alot of the actions he’s running with bc being ran with the dubs next year instead it’ll be kuminga and curry
Come to the heat meng
He is better than Zubac
looks like a good pickup for the warriors
Waaaaaaarrriiiooorrsss!
Why is curry going play in the Olympics, bro should be focused on his 2year 🪟
His game is similar to a center version of jalen brunson, how he loves the 3 and posting up
This makes 0 sense. How did you just compare a 7 footer that will probably go undrafted to one of the best guards in the NBA
Bro what???? 😂
Sick! Budget Holmgren!
Because he’s injured
Wish he was healthy for the summer league
It feels like Post has been at BC for a decade, crazy to think he might make the NBA
Yeah he has been at BC for a minute
And now he's a Warrior 💙💛
I’m getting Ivica Zubac vibes from this guy, holy shit! I don’t think he’ll ever be a star, but in his prime he might be one of the best role-player bigs in the league!
I agree, I think he could be a really solid role player in the pros
Warriors Jokic!
Sorry for the late post today, will post at an earlier time tmrw
i thought you quinten post forever.
Okay, he can shoot the 3. I hope they give him playing time to see what he can do over a stretch of games.

Sadness! Dapat kinuha yan ng lakers sa #52 need nila ng bigman na my shooting kesa ky bronny james hahaha
Great pick up. Kerr will play him 3 minutes/week so Warriors fan can be frustrated the whole season again.
This was a good pick fr
Never heard of the kid until this morning. Good job Mike Dunleavy Jr. Hope this guy gets some minutes this season.
I believe steve kerr ruin this kid.,make him a bench warmer for 3 years or put him at the g league thats steve kerr!
this pick is fine, considering that he compliments and the polar opposite of TJD that is a left hand dominant guy with a weak right hand.
passing in the post to an open shooter or for a backdoor cut....fits well with the warriors
Tallest player in warriors history 💪
hope you can also make some breakdown for possible nba team offensive approach depending who they going to draft.
I have his auto from Boston collage
A better version of Zach Collins
Looking better than Saric for sure
I hope Kerr make him the starting center right away
More athletic of jokic version
Gsw has already a post big man
Wow fantastic review on this big man!
damn this guy knows his stuff
He just drafted by the warriors
That handle is rough, definitely a project
Definitely gonna take time, but I think that he could be solid
Welcome to the bay!
QP!🦁🇳🇱
He’s a warrior
Warriors
Yes!
IM TALKING ABOUT HIM NOW
Your analysis for each players is on point
Me included man.
Warriors took note. Kudos to fo
Thanks sm, really excited for Post
"Positive assist to turnover ratio". How exactly do you have a negative one? Lol
Negative would just mean that you have less than 1 assist per turnover
@@TheRimReview That's not negative. It's under 1
@kevinmclain4080 Cmon dude, you're a splitting hairs...common sense tells you he means negative as in a poor assist/turnover ratio
@TB-vb3ov Splitting hairs? If that is what is intended its an awful use of the English language. So no. It's not splitting hairs.

Shades of Meyers Leonard
He can duplicate leonards playing style.
Celtcis shoud pick him
Either him or kyle filopski
Can you make Filipowski? Thanks
I wish I could but I cannot do Kyle Filipowski or Jared unfortunately. Any other player I would be happy to knock out

OKC just nabbed him....😂
Sorry looks like he's been traded thunder up
Warriors bought the pick back and took okcs player
Hes too old
While age is a concern, when you are talking about role players age is not as much of a concern
I promise... this guy won't make the nba. Maybe overseas in Europe
He made it to the combine and is projected to be a late 2nd in a bunch of mocks, I would be surprised if he does not at least get a 2 way
@@TheRimReview He'll get a Summer League invite and could earn a 2 way that way. He's not athletic at all but he can play.
@@TheRimReview You might be right. Will find out soon enough
This didn’t age well 😂
Couch gms going crazy😂😂😂
cause he's no good.

He got that soft touch 😎
Fuck yea 😎
means nothing with kerr there cuz he doesnt know how to use and develop a big.

@@Nazhuk Wiseman should've stayed in college, bro played like 3 college games
