Vehicle stopped on central reservation rapidly detected by SVR-500 radar

Fully automatic stopped vehicle detection (SVD) using the SVR-500 radar. In this video the SVR-500 radar detects stopped and stranded vehicles in multiple locations including next to concrete carriageway divider. When the police block the road to recover the stranded vehicle the SVR-500 radar detects and reports the size of the traffic jam.
The SVR-500 automatic camera slew-to-cue function overrides the paired PTZ camera preset positions to slew and zoom the camera to point at the various areas of interest. This automatic control simplifies control room operations because staff do not need to select the right camera then move it manually - the process is automatic.
The SVR-500 radar operates in all weathers with high detection probability and rapid response time. The precise location of all incidents are reported to a control centre and can be displayed on a map or used to control overhead warning signs.
