Thanks for showing off our cultural heritage as Ashanti people. I'm also proud to know that one of the discoverers is Ameyaw, as that happens to be my middle name. I'll also be visiting family in July next year and I'm looking forward to visiting Bonwire for the first time myself. Proud to be Ghanaian, but more so Ashanti. Keep bringing us more cultural videos like this. My American friends like Kente, so they'll get a kick out of this video.
Heyyy!!! New subscriber from Jasmine Ama! Enjoyed this video! I will be visiting Ghana soon with my travel sisters and would love to visit this place to support them! Will definitely reach out to you when we arrive! ❤️🙏🏿
You see the kente weaving process involves different strands of thread put together,so they shake it only to adjust it so that one thread in a particular pattern doesn’t get into the thread in another pattern. Hope it’s understood 😍

Great video
Why do they shake the thread when weaving the kente?
You see the kente weaving process involves different strands of thread put together,so they shake it only to adjust it so that one thread in a particular pattern doesn’t get into the thread in another pattern.
Hope it’s understood 😍
