Great book choices! Regarding Turn Homeward Hannalee, I would suggest just pre-reading that one. It's a very, very good book, but there is a section about soldiers, I believe, doing unkind things to young ladies in the town they are taking over. It's not detailed or graphic, but it's mentioned that it happened. I was cautioned about the content when my daughter was in 5th grade. I pre-read it, and chose to have my daughter read it and we discussed in a very age appropriate way about the content. It's a great book, and very worth reading. It really gave "me" a better view of this time period that I had never learned while in school, myself. Praying your new year is very blessed! Thanks for your videos! ♥️

The Wright Brothers book was a favorite of ours this past year. The cover was dull but the book was great. Happy reading!

If you’re interested in doing a video, I would like to hear if you liked/disliked the books you picked last year.
