That's one of the reasons I think Mnet benched her. If they knew the lineup all along then they knew the type of songs they wanted IZONE to sing which are songs written in very high keys that Kaeun would struggle to sing.

From todays news, she wasn't eliminated because of evil edit or whatever we saw on screen, but because, PD AJY (and the people behind him) decided to remove her, from the beginning.
So much for a "national producer" choice.
And here I don't count the robbed audience who thought their voice (sms) would matter.
Seing this movie after a long absence, I've got sad again. I had been enthusiastic about AFTERSCHOOL and when I heard Kaen would challenge this program, I deadly hoped that she pass the selection.

In times past, "Lee kaeun" seemed to live in Wakayama,Japan for three years . she was talking about that on Japanese Tv. I am not sure, but she might have gone to the Japanese school at that time. anyway, she can speak Japanese with almost perfect precision, so there is nothing wrong with she talking to Japanese people.

票が流れてしまったとしか思えません。produce48の序盤で首位独走したのもあって、最終回ではカウンさんはほかの練習生に比べてあまりエピソード中はフィーチャーされなかった。produce48は最終回がメインで視聴率も最終回だけ3倍近くだったそうです。ずっとproduce48見ていなかった大勢の方が最終回だけ見た上の印象で特に印象に残った人に投票したのが理由だと思います。投票は携帯に番号4つ打ち込んで名前を書いてメールするだけですからすごく楽なもんです...
mnet側が公平にスポットライトを当ててあげるべきだった...

There was such favoritism in PD48 and it had nothing to do with the talent but everything to do with the companies behind the idols. IZ*ONE are a wonderful band and they put out good music imo but every time I look at the lineup it hurts a little, not because the girls don't deserve their fame but because Mnet was entirely unfair in every aspect.
I have to say I agree. Though we got a good group, I definitely think the lineup could've been tweaked and we would have gotten an even stronger group.
