Hardest Spartan Race Obstacle

- The Beast Sandbag Carry in Cincinnati (2023) was the hardest Spartan Race Obstacle I have done so far. This obstacle took place 9 miles into the Beast race after going up and down a mountain. Ran on June 10, 2023 by Matt from Spartan Life.

2024 Cincy Sandbag is nightmare fuel. 100% agree on this one
It is so physically and mentally draining. I hate I wasn't able to go to 2024 Cincy.
San Jose beast sandbag was pretty gruesome, too. And right after that was the bucket carry.
Back to back sounds truly awful.
Killington Beast 2024 sandbag carry. Some sadistic monster decided to put this at the end of the course and make us go up and down a steep hill. 💀

Looks nasty, but the 2023 CO springs beast was straight up / down a gravel mountainside. No bueno! 😅

Absolutely agree. I recall West Va Beast in 2021 had 2 tough sandbag carries, but neither was as tough as this one. You might have gotten there ahead of me but they were spraying water on it and it was also slick. I heard the DNF for Cincy was @ 30% but still think WV is tougher and though I have not done Tri-State, Bib Bear or Killington, I hear they are tougher.
I definitely think WV is one of the harder ones I have done. After doing Cincy last year it had me tweak some stuff in my training so I wasn't as unprepared for the elevation in WV like I was in Cincy last year.
@@jimbragg8909 The Sandbag Carry at Big Bear this year went up leftover snow in the terrain park, but it wasn’t too bad. The Bucket Carry was average, but it’s always within a gauntlet of about 10 obstacles near the end, after the Monkey Bars, Rope Climb and Multi-Rig. Big Bear Beast is really known as the Soul Crusher because of the relentless up and down totaling nearly 5000 feet. It’s rated the second-nastiest Beast in the US after Killington.
Wow! I’ve never seen so much human misery and torture in such a short time span. Dozens of writhing bodies strewn along the path. Abandoned sandbags. Puts feature horror movies to shame! They had a Spartan helmet in Lebec in 2021; it was flat but it was a BUCKET CARRY!
It truly was torturous.... That sounds miserable also.
