I'm planning to buy this.. but the staff said that door was only for the ads.. you will have to have one made for yourself.. good thing you posted this here. I hope they'll provide it for you as well as for new buyers.
I am not done yet bashing them. Today the 10th day or so of ownership, the low beams of both headlighs went out last night, took to the Molo King Cab dealer who said they are only warranteed for 5 days. I had 404 kms on the clock. Another fellow was there getting his King Cab Commuter serviced I looked, he had 3300km on the odometer, the oil cooler sprung 2 leaks. I also noticed he had halogen bulbs in his headlights, they are melting the top of the reflector inside the lamp housing. If you take both hands off of the handle bars the handle bars swing violently from one extreme to the other immediately. Also noticed there is no brake light switch on the front brake lever. All in all I definitely am not impressed at all & in my humble opinion, don't buy one take a look at the Motorstar instead. I will put out another post tommorow or the next day when I have a chance. Additionally, riding in the back of this thing is worse than riding in the very back of a +35 year old Jeepney thats on its last legs. Everything rattles & bangs like heck & the ride is worse than riding on a buckboard wagon that has no springs on the axles over a dirt trail. I did give KingCab.PH a chance to respond & make things right hoping that I could include at the end of my posts that they came through & made things right. I got 0 response from them, so can bet your ass that i am not through bashing them. Tonight I drove home with Halogen bulbs in the headlights because I did not have enough pesos on me to purchase replacement headlight bulbs, still could not see more than 3-4 meters in front of me, very scary ride. If you hit a pot hole more than a 4cm deep it feels like hitting a pot hole in car that is at least 20cm deep, it is a bone jarring bang.
maybe not all 22 models have doors, but there are models manufactured in the same year that have doors and there are those that don't have doors...was a wrong ad maybe, they should have made it clear...customer is always right..
Yes it seems to be a deal for what you get. What I am saying is that it could be a whole lot better. The ride is really quite stiff. I am already planning on doing some upgrades, just because I can & I like to tinker with things. Larger diameter front wheel with a disc brake & front forks that actually behave like motorcycle forks (dampening), slightly larger & wider rear wheels for transversing those potholes & maybe rear shocks also. A bigger water-cooled engine so I can keep the engine heat out of the cab & maybe be able to hit 120kmph.

My girls trike she has to get a new top and sides made. They don't sell factory ready made kits to buy and put on.
