    Great reaction. Another banger from Sabaton about sacrifice and heroism in the face of unsurmountable odds. Keep rocking.

    You’re on point today! First guessing it was Poland, then the polish translation! Yes, the polish line does translate to warsaw fight.

    Well... The USSR of course set Warsaw free, but to be honest that could be more quickly and without any afterwar s*ir.

      And then subjugated them for 45 years. Ask a Pole what they think of Russia and the USSR.

    It was the USSR that liberated Poland from the Germans in 1944-1945 at the cost of more than 400,000 lives of Soviet soldiers. The Warsaw uprising was not aimed at liberating Warsaw from the Germans (which already happened by the force of Zhukov's troops), but primarily in order to establish a regime independent of the USSR after the war (which ultimately did not work out).

      @JaroslawKwasniewski ปีที่แล้ว +5

      "Regime" was the next 45 years when we were basically occupied by Soviet Russia. Both occupations were similarly terrible.

      If by "liberated", you mean "conquered", then you are correct. Also, if the city was already liberated from the Germans "by the force of Zhukov's troops" then who were the insurgents fighting? Were they fighing the Soviets? Would be great considering how little difference there was between a Soviet butcher and a German one, but no, the city was still in German hands when the uprising was going on. Only after Germans levelled the city and pulled out, did brave red army walk in unopposed to "liberate" a pile of rubble. Also, a bit of a tangent, but it's ironic how much Russians brag about restoring Warsaw after the war when they were the ones standing there and twiddling their thumbs, waiting for Poles to be massacred and watching the city get destroyed in the first place.

    Soviet union was part of allies. Bombers from UK bot UK and USA could have easily go there and help but nope. Western front was more important.

      The Soviets didn't allow Allied airwings basing rights.
      Britain and the US asked, they were denied. Because rooting out the Polish resistance would do *them* a favour after the war when they'd install a puppet government.
      Fuck. Stalin.

    (USSR had a lot to deal with from defeating Germans on their land, then had to liberate Ukraine and fight off Ukrainian UPA and the Galicia SS division around Kiev and other parts and mostly western Ukraine, which were a lot and a bloody fight. I also think UPA and Galicia some were still in Poland. They also had to care for the civilians too and wounded . It’s why they couldn’t arrive quick enough to Poland, but they were really trying Russia really wanted to protect and save Poland but their ‘brother’ some of Ukraine decided to help Germans and stop the soviets (which they (soviets) also had some Ukrainians too and Georgians of course it would’ve been crazy to kill your own and who some share blood with)

      Or the fact that they were ordered to stop outside the city in order for thier occupation to go smoother

      @@sebastianbilinski3012 it Not lmao, please do learn re read history and Ukraine part in ww2 as I said it wasn’t all, but there was lots of UPA and Galicia whom defended Ukraine from soviets trying to get to Poland

      @Space Soldier the russian army literally stopped a few miles out of the city and then ignored all attempts by the polish resistance to contact them
