যখন বাংলা বাক্যে ‘ধরে’ কথাটি থাকবে তখন ‘For’ ব্যবহার করুন। যেমন -
আমি দু ঘণ্টা ধরে কাজ করছি।
I've been working for two hours.
### আমরা এটা কখনোই এটা বলি না যে -
আমি দু ঘণ্টা থেকে কাজ করছি।
যখন বাংলা বাক্যে ‘থেকে’ কথাটি থাকবে তখন ‘since’ ব্যবহার করুন। যেমন -
আমি সকাল থেকে কাজ করছি।
