Still Spinning 8,000: THE BOOK!

Emil De Leon famously solved NEW BABY BUGGY during the bonus puzzle on Wheel of Fortune in 2014 and became not only a social media star over night, but accomplished one of the most impressive solves in Wheel of Fortune history! Emil also gathered well-wishes and photographs from around 200 past contestants for Pat Sajak, as he is retiring from Wheel of Fortune. Emil took all of those memories and made them into a scrap book for Pat. In April 2024, 70 past contestants were invited to be in the studio audience for the filming of episode 8,000. While at Sony Studios, Emil was able to present Pat with this book. At the end of episode 7,998 Pat acknowledged and talked about the book Emil worked so hard on! Just watched it last week when Pat receives the scrapbook, and I was so moved. Love the scrapbook of photographs of former Wheel contestants like Trent (#TeamTrent), Julian, Dalet and her son Felix, Kelly Vaught, Kellen, Brenda, Christian, Berto, and of course Liz and her son KC. I remember Emil's bonus puzzle 10 years ago, and it went viral. Good job, Emil!
