The scriptwriting was superb, showing every character in three dimensions. The direction was excellent and kept the audience's interest immersed from start to finish in every episode. The acting was brilliant from every single person, from Aunt Zhou to Wei Ruolai and all in between. They all worked together to create an unforgettable series. It would have been wonderful to have Wang Yibo and Wang Yang back in season 2 with the same scriptwriter (who deserves an Oscar for sure) but that will not happen now, more's the pity..
