Hi kuya dex i have to agree with u this is the best source of free food for your livestock, what we are also doing to save cost is to soak the grains (not pellets) in water for 2 or 3 days and wait for it to increase in size, these grains get fermented after 2- 3 days which increases its nutritional value and helps with the gut health of the chickens and ducks and they can also digest it easy and since the grains bloat up in size u will end up using less grains every day for the feed so thats double savings for you as you are also using azola
@@kezzays we use wheat grains cause of its high nutritional content especially since its high in protein, and its cheap aswell, u should look up how to sprout the wheat grass as it makes a good cheap food source if you have small grass fodder eating animals aswell n pretty easy to sprout
@@kkryss777 i see, thanks for the sharing of information. I have seen the benefits of wheat fodder but it is difficult to get in my country Malaysia and will be expensive. Our alternative would be corn grains but that is also expensive. May I know which country do you leave? many thanks again
@@kezzays corn is easy to sprout as well take a full grown raw corn and remove each of the corn grains and plant u should have a full grown corn plant in weeks to repropogate or use the small shoots as fooder, there is always a way, i live in Philippines same as kuya dex, check his channel he has also shown many alternative ways to save cost, this video above about azolla is the most beneficial as azolla is found in any stagnet water body ull even find some in Malaysia if u look
Cheers to your new found technique, this one kind of methods for azolla surely makes your produce 3 times more, than before...😊 goodluck my friend n wish you more to come...have a good day everyone😊
Well, you are so smart Mr Dexter, very entertaining and practical way guide for azolla farming. Indeed your method is very cheap and easy to implement, thanks x x. But you need a protective hat while while your staff hammer the bamboo down the mud.😂 keep producing the best videos 🤗🙌👍
Thanks for sharing, is azolla a type of corn, never heard of it but certainly sounds like a great idea to save cost. May god continue to bless you and flourish you with much more brilliant ideas.
Can you mix azolla and duckweed together in feeding poultry? If yes, what would be the percentage between the two? You did mention that azolla makes up 30 % of your feed ration, does that 30% already include the duckweed? What other natural food ingredients could you add, that is purely homegrown, to make up the other 70%? Para wala masyadong gastos in feeding poultry.
