I’m so happy you shared this!!! I’ve always been so curious about water birth. If I ever have a fourth I will definitely be considering a home water birth🥰
To add: hospitals that have midwives or low intervention rooms almost never allow actual waterbirth, just laboring in the tub. You kinda touched on that but I just wanted to make it clear to anyone who picks the low intervention or luxury rooms at the hospital
This is correct. I am in Louisiana and feel so grateful to live near the only hospital in the entire state that allows actual birth in the water, not just laboring. I wish the option was available for women everywhere.
Thank you for sharing, I've always had an instinct to do a water birth and I'm going to try for my first birth ! I'm 18 weeks so far
Appreciate you sharing your knowledge and experience heaps 🥰❤️

I’m glad! That’s awesome, a water birth was a really great experience! ♥️
Thanks for sharing this info! I was able to try the tub in the hospital which I’m grateful for! Been looking into a birth center for next time 🥰
Yes! I’m glad it was helpful! Definitely recommend a birth center🙂❤️

What happened about the circumvallate placenta
Did you tear with the water birth? I watched and I don’t think I heard you answer this question if so sorry I missed it.
I talked about it in my birth story (: I tore barely a second degree🙌🏻😊
