    for anyone concerned about air in the loop, those visible tubes on the top aren't even connected to the watercooling, those seem to be purely for show, at 11:10 you can see that the cooling block is connected directly to the radiator, with the actual cooling pump probably inside the block

      That's good news but also kinda dumb that it's all for show. Would really like to have a way to keep an eye on the fluid in the loop to make sure there isn't any sediment and to monitor the flow since I don't see a flow rate indicator at all.

    Good design, I think the 4060 is also the mobile version like the CPU. It has nice packaging, of course the little 120mm radiator and fan can get quite hot but its not like a normal laptop that screams its fans out to keep under 90C. And of course they need to make it easier to clean the radiator, dust is gonna get in there and lower its efficiency over time. Also the loop seems to have alot of air in there, a fillport on top of the radiator would have been better to manage that. The pump is probably very cheap too...

    In my opinion, with the engineering and thought that's went into this thing, it's well worth the money.
    Well I would say this... If they provided a convenient way to clean it. Even some dust filters shoved in a gap would do.

    There was SO much air in that loop. They also seem to be using thin transparent soft tubing for those visible parts which doesn't help either.
    Running it on its side might help get the air somewhere else?
    If one is feeling brave, the soft U loops could be replaced with PETG?

  • @Sgt_SealCluber
    @Sgt_SealCluber 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    There is a distinct lack of ventilation, the liquid loop MIGHT be able to bruteforce it to "acceptable" temperatures, but I'm guessing it could be waaaaaay better.

    • @Sgt_SealCluber
      @Sgt_SealCluber 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      And after the video, not have easy access to the fan and rad for cleaning on top of sub-par ventilation means that these are going to start overheating badly in the future.

    You sound different today. Are you using a different mic? (I also realize that I'm using different speakers... so it might be me.. lol) Great video as always. Have you ever considered when you're doing a teardown, to make a teardown how-to readme file as you're going along? You'll be giving the community something to work with if someone decides to make an actual teardown tutorial for this product. The more people with input on their teardowns, the better the teardown will be for other. Its a learning experience.

    Pretty cool, but for $1799 you can build a Ryzen 5 7500F, 4070 TI Super Mini-ITX PC.
    I guess if you're a creator, need a good CPU for workloads, game a little on the side and also like the unique look it could be a good buy.
    For a gamer I wouldn't recommend it, the 4070 TI Super build I mentioned would be twice as fast in most games.

    For valid temperatures you should have tilted the PC while have it running just to get the air completely out of the loop but into the top of the radiator (where it can sit until it does of old age).
