Thanks for sharing! I enjoyed your flip through. I’ve got a box cut down to make into a chunky journal similar in size to yours and I’m encouraged now to work on it. I like your idea of incorporating used calendars as pages! I’ve got a “few” (understatement!). The package tape lamentation is also clever. Plan to use that idea too! Thanks again!
i love this journal flip. I like putting food wrappers in my journal i do that a lot i have a lot of fun doing that and remembering the things i ate or liked or did not like or if they changed how things look and if the snack or food is no longer in stores or at resurants things like that only i do not call my journals junk journal i call it a daily time capsule journal
YES! Sometimes I call them time capsules too!! I mean, that’s what they are😁
@@Grace_Journals I agree some things as years,go on won't be around like stores, certain places you ate at, prices for the things you brought, fast food restaurant changing their menu or looks of it , ads, toys, candy, things like that

Put a little bit of glue on the washi tape , then stick down, and the washi tape will hold quite nicely

Yes, I agree. Washi is removable tape. Always use some kind of glue to make it permanent.
I just completed my first journal and it’s so fat, I have to use sari silk to hold it shut! I even left some empty pages in it. It’s PACKED!!!!
I can’t seem to NOT stuff my journals to the max😂 But, I will say that having a really chunky journal is just so fun to go back and flip through😊

I get my floral papers from paper packs that I usually buy fromJoanne’s (though you can find them at other craft stores as well. Based on my experience, Hobby Lobby has a great selection.) Hope that helps!
