Anyway, I have been in theatre all my life, and am very sure she has worked her ass off to develop her God given voice abd achieve that control. There is nothing wrong with that…thank you GOD that she was supported and nurtured and allowed to develop that instrument. The secret sauce is her generosity. She cares about telling the story…not just singing in a technically perfect way. Her SOUL comes through every moment. Amongst actors, we call it being generous with the audience…from springsteen to garland, we know the entertainers who give a shit about entertaining us. being there with us. she is a treasure…

Yup! What I love about Sydnie is that she doesn't just rely on those pipes, she knows when you bring it back down and sings with so much emotion and feeling. It's almost like she's telling you a story through her songs.

She is hands down the best vocalist I’ve ever heard. Every song she choose had dynamics where we felt like we went on a journey. She starts us off with a quiet intimacy, builds toward a crescendo and then brings us back into the intimacy…. So we feel like we’ve been on a journey with her…and she’s successful doing this because she has such a clear tone and man, a full throated voice rather than a falsetto at those ending notes… her range… INSANE! And these. “Got Talent” shows are for ANYONE who hasn’t made it big…from shower singers, to singers who have put out albums but never really garnered the attention that breaks through the masses. So, she’s had professional gigs… tons of contestants have…. This is just her BIG BREAK…. And anyone is eligible to have it. She’s been a pleasure… personality and singing ability. She was on a British talk show after she won, and the hosts asked her what she would do with the 250,000-pound prize money. She said she was going to hire the wonderful voice coach she worked with on BGT because that lady had done more to improve her singing than three years of music college. So her vocal talent is both natural and highly trained, and there's not one thing wrong with that, especially when you hear the result!

There are no voices that "shouldn't be touched". She's a very well trained musical singer (and alreay sang in some musicals in Germany and England). During an interview in a television program she said that BGT vocal coach helped her a lot and with the 250.000 pounds she's going to hire that vocal coach full time for some years
The only person I think can touch her vocally right now is Jessie J, if you haven't already, check out Jessie J on the 'The Singer' from 2018, it's a singing competition in China, she ended up winning it, incredible. But I second you, I'd love to hear her do some Whitney! :)

This is probably just the right time for her… though, she probably didn’t enjoy it as she was going through it… having that additional time to train and marinate more before sharing her gift with the world could only have been to her benefit. Stevie, not sure if you read the comments, but let me add some clarity to what Dragonofthewhiteflame posted earlier.
This arrangement was made by Loren Allred 4 months ago when she was on AGT Fantasy League.
Sydnie’s version is 99% from Loren. Since she had only 3 days between the semifinal and the finals, BGT suggested she sing Loren’s version. Sydnie initially said no because Loren is her idol, but Loren not only approved it but also sent Sydnie a video of support.
Afterward, Loren told her it’s now their version and she would love to do a duet with Sydnie. 2 wonderful ladies.
