Tunnel is not easy to create and operationalising is no less feat. Hope they achieve Tube from Airport to Dwarka. Would cut down time and something to marvel for all Indians. I completely agree with your point about people breaking traffic rules and driving on the wrong side on Dwarka Expressway. If I complain on the portal that you mentioned, will there be swift action taken on DE or should I call the 1095 Traffic police helpline?
Thanks for this vital update, Prakhar. The tunnels would resolve a lot of traffic issues near Shiv Murti. The tube 1 seems to be near completion, whereas Tube 2 has some amount of work left. I guess they would open one side (Tube 1) first, such that the traffic light at Old Gurgaon Road has to cater for two traffic flows only, as against three now. Once this is done, the work on Tube 2 will proceed in parallel. The pillars have the artwork to be completed, and this will take time. The portal beam work also seems to be progressing, I guess it will be over by Oct 30, as will Tube 1. Why don't you start on online campaign for the parking lot land acquisition by DMRC ? I'm sure all commuters and residents of the area will chip in to help. This Metro stn is vital for DW Eway residents for commuting to Delhi. Keep up the good work and Jai Hind.
Hi Prakhar I live in Delhi and work in Gurgaon Udyog Vihar. This monsoon, NH8 gets choked everyday from 7am till mid night especially on the road going back to Delhi. In your opinion, when the tunnels will open completely, how much of the traffic will be reduced from NH8 during peak hours. The reason I want your opinion is because I still have a feeling that tunnel khulne ke baad bhi Gurgaon to Airport ka traffic shayad kam ho jaaye But Gurgaon to Delhi jaane waale log yehi use karenge and NH8 will only get marginally decongested. Would be great if you help me out with this query Also keep up the good work and thank you for the updates
Really good articraft this kind of beutification measure shoude take for more tunnels or bridges.Even urban bridges should be designed with more architectural aesthetic beside beutified with painting or articrafts.

Prakhar, i noticed in the video that service lane near yashobhoomi metro station has manhole covers just at the middle of the road. Is the drainage not shifted towards sideways?

Either people don't remember or they have less knowledge about the history. NHAI proposal was to make Flyover here however Airport Authority of India didn't gave height approval so alternative was to make a tunnel. Hope this clears your doubt.
Underground tunnels are not safe for riders in Delhi.The drain management is not satisfactory done in Delhi.Pragati madian proved failure.The engineers should try to gain expertise in drain management
In my opinion, this should have been done in the park not in the tunnel, this will be diversion to the driver to drive safely and will be problem for traffic as a traffic disruption.
This work is by no means world-standard., Sir Look Closely Inside the tunnel, not a Single Pillar is aligned properly or even Straight, you can see clearly when you have some knowledge of construction. Every single Tunnel/Underpass that NHAI has built in Gurgaon has the same problem and they do these poor artworks purposefully to hide any flaws form common man. I don't know how long these infrastructures are going to last, we are already seeing the pragati maidan and Mumbai coastal Road project failing.
I don't know about every single other projects. I have shown and seen each and every pieces and bits in making and I can proudly say the work is good. If you have any observations or suggestions pls write to NHAI using pgportal.gov.in and I am sure they will reply back.
Pragati maidan and Mumbai coastal road jaisa haal ho jayega 1 saal ke andar ,maybe you will find it closed temporarily in next monsoon when water will fill in the tunnel
@@DwarkaExpressway Sir Firstly, I have been watching your videos since day one and your work is really dedicated and these are the things I myself watch very carefully. The work on elevated section is very good but not the tunnels, you will know when you notice it by yourself. The work doesn't look satisfactory at all, not even the retaining walls took proper, just compare the quality with Gurgaon's Golf course Road tunnels then you will know, this is not at all accepted from the current Gov. on these most-important projects.

@@sandeepsingh-ey6dm all the infrastructure projects of india are in real mess, will like to point out some very large projects that I have personally seen 1.just been on fourlane project from Punjab to Manali fourlane project, mountain side road is blocked due to improper breast wall ,roads have potholes almost every where and it is just opened last year. 2 Chardham all weather road has become no weather road from all weather road 3.Big ticket delhi mumbai expressway has already become full of broken roads,potholes ,water and even at some place one side road suddenly is sunked and very dangerous as you will suddenly be coming at high speed and will find road sunked

The steel artwork will soon fade away as the fumes of the automobile will settle on it.All the glossiness of paint will vanish within a year or so and will give a bad look.The pragati maiden artwork now gives a messy look
@@DwarkaExpressway I don't think it's a justified reply to the suggestion provided.The answer is based on the previous experiment they have done in Underground road tunnel beautification. wastage of money..The place which has 24/7 lead fumes pollution and no outlet for this poisonous gas, gradually turns into grey walls.
I think this much beautification is unnecessary especially if it is adding to the timeline of the tunnel. People would prefer early opening of tunnel rather than beautification.
Too much colours and designs and it would be covered with dust and smoke and difficult to maintain cleanliness ,,,, very uncomfortable,.... Simple is always beautiful
40kmph is too slow for a 3 lane one way road with divider. That is why no one follows the speed limits. Rules made should be reasonable and logical, so that people follow them automatically.
Prakhar ji thanks for the update. But tunnel ko kya ye peak hours mei operational nahi kar sakte kya ? Secondly , the road work is complete and only because of wall artifacts ye delay ho raha hai . Jab bhi ye operational hoga , insaan gaadi chalayenge at 80km/hr ya fir in artifacts ki taraf dhyan denge. ? Looks pleasant to the eye . But it is illogical agar tunnel ki opening wall artifacts ki wajah se delay ho rhi hai to . (Just my personal opinion) But hats off to ur dedication.
I think after few weeks only the new commuters will be looking at the art effects. I think same is position of Pragati Maidan tunnel. For daily commuters it is just day to day route and in hurry to the destination they eventually see the road.
Aysa nahi hai. They were trying to catch some bikers jo silencers se pataka bajate hai. They got the tip from NH8 somewhere that such huligans were on their way. They also came and met me, when I told them that I'm from Nitin Gadkari sir's team they were so happy and hugged me. They also wanted to know by when the the tunnel will be opened.
This Expressway is of no use to reduce traffic ,it is only going to increase traffic on the existing road only,if the tolls get charged on this nobody is goimg to use this road,and it will abe back to the previous situation,only an Metro and a good bus service between Delhi and Gurgaon can solve this problem.
