I feel really bad for the Light-Paws player. He seems like the most skilled at the table but everyone else just teamed up on him to make him lose. Like that Path to Exile... man that would've been so cool if it was targeted at Hinata and not Light-Paws. Anyway I really hope he plays Light-Paws again soon. Would love to see that deck in action some more. Seems like a REALLY good deck and WAYYYYY better than the Hinata deck!!
Agreed I love to see it again in the future. Now as someone that has built and plays a light paws deck at the cedh level oh boy is it good it fast fun and relatively cheap. But on the other hand yay the other players made the right choice of not letting the light paws get to critical mass
With my experience of playing Light-Paws, this is typically how it goes. Once you're big enough to one-shot a player, then everyone teams up on you relentlessly until you're dead. It sucks but she's still super fun to play and she can really just donkey stomp entire pods if given even the slightest chance.
3 blue mana players team up against mono white deck, that just sad. And please don’t mentioned any card is mvp when Dockside is in play, I saw so many games that basically people just abuse Dockside, so boring and uninspired.
As a Light-Paws player... This was super frustrating watching all the removal and counter spells being aimed at her all the while Hinata is thrashing the whole pod. Threat assessment, people! Light-Paws can only kill one player at a time for God's sake lol...
Yeah unfortunately with the RoL effect in play, I couldn’t use my counters to protect my own spells. So they really just turned into tempo counterspells to slow everyone else down 😅😅
I think you guys completely forgot about the Tocatli Honor Gaurd on the battlefield. The sublime epiphany dockside token wouldn't matter and solitude couldn't exile Hinata. Funny you guys realize about the Honor Gaurd later when it was phased out
Sublime Epiphany resolves modes in order from top to bottom. So returning the Toactli to hand would happen before making a token of dockside would occur. Thanks for watching!
It's not too clear when that Abrade targeting the Ethersworn Canonist was cast, around 22:23 mark. But if it was at Jared's end step, that would be an illegal cast, since it would be Kam's 2nd spell of the turn, after he cast Force of Negation in the same turn on Jared's Light of Promise. It may have been upkeep, response to Rebound trigger attempting to cast Recurring Insight, but its not clear if that's what's happening, since Kam still has a bunch of stuff tapped, when he casts Abrade.
Haha! MPC is awesome. Hopefully Lee’s aren’t too hard to understand what they are (he does the whole deck and uses wild art we’ve all never seen, so kinda hard to keep track of in gameplay) 😂

Yeah you’re definitely right! I think we realized that when we were actually recording so I tried to take it back and then cast it my upkeep but I don’t think it was very clear in the game itself it was my turn
Unfortunately there’s no hexproof auras in white. Your best options are a few instants (which are in the deck) and a handful of equipment. In a perfect world we’re shutting off the use of artifacts through stax pieces. The deck is also aiming to land an early RoL effect therefore you need to run a fairly high number of auras to consistently break parity on the effect. Essentially you’ll be cast at least 2 spells a turn cycle while opponents get one under RoL.
