As soon as I saw the mask i remembered ... Lilasari the cursed daughter of the king ,she was cursed by the goddess of moon, her parents died by looking at her face and turned into a stone. She was adopted and taken care of the queen of the world and the queen gave her a mask that will keep her from showing her face and turn everyone into a stone. This reminded me of a show in the philippines. The show is called Encatadia. There was a part of the show where the moon goddes cursed a child because her father was a gold digger and only wanted moon stones (something like that) to make his kingdom rich and powerful. Then the father and the mother died because the moon goddes cursed the child and they looked at the child. When the child grew up no knew what she looks like except for the queen who took care of her (she was powerful queen well atleast powerful enough to nor make her a stone..) and the queen gave her a mask to protect the others from looking at her face (well mostly her eyes)
